I just can`t decide and i still have to play Bully and Vice City. Rockstar is my favorite developer and i buy their games since the original GTA. Red Dead is my personal western dream come true and i`m just glad they brought back Max Payne.

From the games of the poll i would say GTA4 is the weakest. The only things that rescue it are the dialogues, characters, the story overall and the awesome two DLC episodes. I prefered SR2 gameplaywise at the time it was fresh out.

pretty simple question guys .
What is your favorite game that is made by the Rockstar and why ?

my favorite game from R* has to be BULLY. it was such an amazing game that took me by surprise by how good it actually was. Great story, amazing characters, amazing setting, simple yet very addicting gameplay, lots of fun things to do , very humorous, oozes charm . this game was so good that my most wanted sequel is Bully 2.
words cannot do justice how awesome this game is.just today i started my third playthrough of the game and its still amazing fun. if you haven't yet played this game i strongly suggest you give this game a shot. you will thank me for it.
Just for the record, Max Payne shouldn't be on the list, and LA Noire should. Reason being that Max Payne was barely developed by Rockstar, all they did was port it to consoles (and were one of three seperate developers to do so, to various consoles). The developers of that game were in fact Remedy Entertainment, a Finnish developer who also developed its sequels, and the Alan Wake franchise. As for LA Noire, that was a Rockstar game, and a very good one too.

That being said, my choice is GTA San Andreas. I just enjoyed playing it more than the others, save Bully which I haven't actually played. I mean, LA Noire is awesome, but it feels a bit too restricted sometimes because of playing as a cop and having to follow regulations. San Andreas was the biggest scale GTA game, had a much more interesting protagonist (although to be fair I've not played IV but heard great stuff about Niko Belic, his cousin aside), and a much better storyline (in my eyes) than the others in that list.

I have nothing but good memories of Bully (except for the protagonist who is a snotty little ass) but I haven't played it in a year or three. That being said I guess Vice City would be my favorite (at least until I play Bully again). I like GTA3 but Vice City seems far more polished. San Andreas is larger but Vice City doesn't bog you down with tutorials. Also, before Brutal Legend, I can't think of a better game for people who like driving at high speeds to Slayer, Ozzy and, Iron Maiden while using squishy organics as particularly loud speed-bumps.

One of the Midnight Club games, can't decide which one I like the best, I'm kinda leaning towards 2 for nostalgia reasons even if the AI are cheating jerks.

Vice City. Everything about it seemed perfect at the time. The music was awesome, the setting and the atmosphere was colourful and somehow relaxing, it had that 80s vibe and good characters. And even though San Andreas improved upon many of its basic gameplay mechanics(such as swimming, I liked that a lot), it just didn't have the same spirit and felt somewhat incomplete to me.

As for Max Payne, I loved MP2, but it wasn't made by Rockstar, as far as I know.

Haven't played Red Dead Redemption, though I hear it's good. But I doubt it would trump GTA:VC as the best R* game for me.

Manhunt. I never played the 2nd one due to my lack of PS2/Wii although I do want to. I don't know why, I love their other games but Manhunt... Manhunt was so disturbing, so traumatizing, so sadistically brilliant. The story was just brilliant, the enemies were fucking insane, it was legitimately scary and holy shit was it gory!

Max Payne should probably be Max Payne 3, as that's the title that was actually developed by Rockstar. As for LA Noire, that game was only published by Rockstar; it was developed by Team Bondi, so it's not really a Rockstar game.

Well, from the list I'd probably say Bully. My love for GTA 2, though is deeper than anything you've ever seen. I'd risk saying there are quite a few family members that get less love from me than GTA 2 does.

Read Dead Redemption, and I figured it would be where it is on the poll for some reason. Mainly, it was like everything I love about MMOs condensed into a single-player experience. There was so much you could do that getting bored was your own choice. I had zero interest in western films or the era and the game actually made the setting not only interesting but enthralling to me. Of course there's the story, and the many ways that the setting was made believable. Fantastic game.
