What character do you normally play as in super smash bros. (any of the games)
I aways play as Sheik. Its a death sentence if you get caught air-borne near Sheik, because she has a full arsenal of moves that send people flying.
On a bit of a side note, Link is newb character.

SSB: Fox, that's about it, maybe Samus sometimes.

SSBM: Fox, Marth, and sometimes Falco.

SSBB: Wolf and Ike mostly. Sonic and Pit for fun.

And yes you are correct that Link is a newb character. I can't remember how many times I heard someone say "oh I'm good at that game, Link FTW!", and then they were absolutely terrible.

In melee I ran with Shiek, Lucas in Brawl.

In the original I pretty much played everyone.

I like Ike and Ness/Lucas. I use Ike when I want to kill shit fast, and Ness/Lucas when I want to make killing people pretty

In SSB I was Pikachu a lot, I can't remember who else I used. Yoshi, probably.

I quit Yoshi in Melee. I then turned to Marth, Bowser and Pikachu. I would pick Mewtwo if I was feeling charitable and there were small kids playing or something.

If I was feeling... fresh... I would choose kid Link if someone picked adult Link. Pime taradox!

For sure, though, if Termina Bay was ever picked I'd ask everyone to hold down L+R.

And I haven't played Brawl. Before release I thought of trying out Metaknight but from bitching from far away friends they make him sound broken or something.

Ever since Melee I've always liked using Falco.

In brawl I most often use either King Dedede, Peach, Zelda, or Zero Suit Samus. Donkey Kong and Kirby are both also pretty awesome. I hate playing as Zero Suit with the smash ball though because I suck with regular Samus.


As far as a definite favorite, none really. I don't have a set main, which leaves me at a disadvantage against my friends who all have their main. Although I rock random character matches.
