Hard to argue with Still Alive from Portal, but I'm also a massive sucker for Elder Scrolls Oblivion's soundtrack.

But I'm also a pretty big fan of the Guild Wars soundtrack, and FFX.

EDIT: Not sure how I could possibly have forgotten Kingdom Hearts. Along with Still Alive from Portal, those two games are the only songs from which I have actually bothered to download the songs to listen to by themselves.

Oh gosh yes it is, I never knew it was featured in a game though, very cool.

I also highly enjoy the theme from Tales of the Abyss, the guitar is very catchy. =D

I liked the Fable tuneage. No idea why, just worked with the game.

Because it was done by Danny Elfman, who is a musical genius

Personally, I really like the song at the end of Mass Effect.

Er. Mad World is not Gears of Wars's theme song, it was just put on the trailer.
The original Mad World was made by Tears for Fears in 1982, then rerecorded by Gary Jules in 2001. This version was made specifically for the brilliant movie Donnie Darko, and in no way was it ever the theme song for Gears of War.

Anyway, my favorite theme song would have to be either Tetris or Metal Gear Solid. It just kicks so much ass.

I was going to pick Still Alive (portal) when I saw Mad World. I've just gotta pick that. It's one of my favorite songs, it just speaks to me. The Halo theme comes in at a close second with Still Alive (portal) at third.
