Just wondered. Who is YOUR Favourite Joker?

Fixed and I liked Jack Nicholson the best even though this is a versus thread which is not looked upon highly

Jack Nicholson he is more psycothic than Heath Ledger and more funny (thats my opinion)

Neither. The films aren't as faithful to Batman as they could be.

The Nicholson Joker had a name. That alone makes it unfaithful since the Joker has never had a name and hopefully never will.

The Ledger Joker was only popular because of Ledger's death, and I don't like the scars. The character has a very thick shroud of mystery surrounding him as it is, adding another element to that kind of ruined it for me.

If I really had to pick, I'd say Nicholson since he was comical and lethal, Ledger was just creepy and lethal, the Joker's never been creepy in the comics. And that's what it boils down to for me, loyalty to the comics.

I think Two-Face is a better villain anyway.

They were different versions of the joker and hard to compare. Ledger had much cooler source material he was allowed to work from, including the Killing Joke. Nicholson had to work off the campier material of Adam West Batman and did a good job with what he had.

I'd say neither. If I had to choose from the two I'd go for Ledger, as the Joker always needs a good level of crazy, but my favourite is the version from Batman: The Animated Series. Say what you like, but Mark Hamil did a fantastic job, I still use that psychotic laugh to scare my cousins when they annoy me.

You're right. Hamill is the best. In films, Heath takes the gold.

I like the far more disturbing Ledger Joker better than the Nicholson Joker.

Tie between Heath Ledger and the Joker from Batman the Animated Series. I loved Nicholson's Joker, but looking back, it felt a little too much like 'Jack Nicholson as the Joker' instead of the nearly unrecognizable performances by Heath Ledger and Mark Hamill.
