How in the blue hell is Rome not on this list? You might as well have a list of the worlds most powerful superpower with only Greenland, Alaska and Palau.

The Imperium of Man

Best army of the age.

For most influence I would have gone with Rome or London.

Too small to make the cut, at a mere 2.2m sq miles! ¬_¬

There's gonna be a lot of these comments, isn't there?
And yet they did more for most any empires that would develop later in that list ALso, where's the Persian Empire?

Anyway, I would say the Zulu Empire. That man was a god.

Alexander's empire. It only lasted a couple of years, but it was fucking awesome.

I voted for the Arabs, as they seemed like pretty cool guys. Generally avoiding that whole "shoot you 'cause you're a funny color" and "construct watchtowers out of skulls" thing. Obviously they weren't pacifists, but being conquered by them wasn't all that bad.

The Mongolian Empire, for the reason that Genghis Khan was a freaking bad ass and about 1% of living Humans are his descendents, also, unlike the British Empire, Genghis Khan didn't enslave a bunch of people with a justification of "They're Brown savages, so they don't have the same rights".

British because im a Brit, Although im glad it doesnt exist today as ppl have the right to live in a free country. Still I would probably have a better standard of life here in Britain.

Its just a shame the empire ended as it did as the 3rd world would be a much stable place if the British set up decent governments in its colonies. Still the British wasnt really in much of a position to do much better since it was devistated by 2 world wars. Then went into meltdown due to a dodgy loan from US government that was very anti Brit in the years following the war and before the cold war kicked off when they changed tack and were all smiles again

No Roman?

That's a disservice to the name of an empire to not include them. The title of 'Caesar' was coveted by so many and adapted as the title for a ruler in many languages/countries.
