Poll: Your favourite Fallout: New Vegas companion?

Cass and ED-E.

Cass just fits with my style - light armor, shotgun, short temper. She always has something to say about wherever we go, and never to the point of it being annoying. She comments on stuff I do, including taking chems and other consumables. She brings a lot of life to my adventures.
Taking her on her personal quest was great, and like all companions, she's fun to simply sit and talk to for a while, but there's something about her story I sympathized with more.
Really she's just my kind of company.

ED-E... well the idea of my own personal Eyebot just sounded like a lot of fun.

I've always liked Veronica - she's hilarious, and she punches things in the face, while being quirky and interesting in her side quests. ED-E is a good compantion as well. While the three of us might not be the most awesome ever, we sure have a lot of fun! I think I'd have fun with the talking armor in that DLC too... Though that isn't really a companion. But humor is a big plus for me anyway!

Boone is the most useful for me but I like Veronica better. It bugs me though that even though my Courier fits her description of what she is attracted to it still gives me the 'This is as far as I get until you turn into a leggy brunette.' line.

I was gonna say Boone then I remember ED-E and far and away that little flying bot meant more to me in the game than any other character. I even found myself saying 'Come on Eddie.'

The female super mutant ... I can't remember her name. Because she melees everything she very often distracts the enemies from you, making the game significantly easier.

Arcade was probably my favourite. After gaying him up with my confirmed bachelor perk and getting a lot of his back story I was really quite drawn to him. Also I do love plasma weapons. ED-E is a close second though purely because of that awesome battle music.

I actually enjoyed all the characters (except Boone who was a little too wet for me as a character despite his awesome markmanship skills). I do love how all the companions were fleshed out more in New Vegas. That was something distinctly lacking in FO3.

I liked Arcade Gannon... never did his enclave stuff though. I never really brought companions as Charisma is my dump stat.

Arcade Gannon, although I also use Boone and Veronica. Arcade is interesting and really useful in combat. Can't really beat that.

Plus he's the only non-lunatic latin speaker in that Game. W00t!

If there's one thing I like about the Caesar's leagion, it's that they actually bother to correctly pronounce Caesar and all the other latin words.

I did not expect Veronica to be higher than Cass. I hope it's not for the reason I think it is.

Boone is way too emo to be a main companion, despite being arguably the best at dishing out actual damage. Lily and Raul get personality points, but both of them are sidelined by their lackluster combat proficiency.

So Cass it is. Gotta get the 'no-hat' mod too, the cowboy hats in New Vegas just look silly.

I use Veronica and ED-E as a tag team of awesomeness.

Also, I don't care what Lonesome Road added, I will never pronounce it Eddy. ED-E is pronounced Edee.

OT: I voted Veronica, but I wish I had a second for Raul; they are both funny and pleasant to be around. ED-E is a constant companion, but only because I love the battle music and asking him whether he speaks Bocce.

Boone probably has the most useful perk for a sniper like me, but he's so surly it's unpleasant. I mean, sorry about your wife and all, but we just sent a rocket full of crazy ghouls to the Moon! Lighten up, brah.

Lily is probably my least favourite. That grating voice, aggh!

I'm goig to have to go with Boone there is nothing better than a bad ass sniper partner. Also it helps that you can get him fairly early on in the game and so you can have a pretty good team of him and Ed-E before you even reach Vegas

None. Zero companions. I like to play a sneaky, stealthy game, and that doesn't work with companions. Particularly Lily.
