In all honesty my favourite type of Medieval weapon is this:

Unoriginal I know (its a claymore) but when you come back to me on the Napoleonic weapon thread I'll give you specifics.

From the choices you put up there, definitely the spring loaded dagger. Actually, I like one of those, and some fancy rapier too:

Can't wait to get my hands on these on these babies.

Well, those are pretty cool, and, out of those, I'd probably go for the sword breaker, as it seems pretty practical and functional, although getting a blade caught in one of those notches looks a little fiddly.

Still, my favourite random bladed weapony-thing has to be the Egyptian kopesh, as shown below:
Kopeshs are THE SHIT.

Katars are also the shit.

Dual-wield those suckers!
That katar looks awesome. I also agree with the kapesh.

Either a falchion
If that's considered obscure.

Or a weapon invented by my Flemish ancestors: The goedendag

What do you get when you combine a spear and a mace? You get a weapon to knock French oppressors from their horses and stab them in the chest.

Don't worry, I don't really know how to handle them... yet. But I don't plan to skewer any fleshy substance. Fruits may be in peril though.

Swept hilt looks real pretty but the schianova or preferrably a mortuary hilt is much more comfortable to use and more practical for face punching :D But not as pretty ;D

Pretty, and far more functional indeed. Rapiers I find far more attractive though. The duellist style really does it for me.

Sword-Chucks. With swords in place of wooden cylinders, it's just as deadly to you as it is to your opponent!
Seriously though, the Kusarigama is pretty awesome.

It's called a Kapesh, and it's also my favourite obscure weapon. You can slash, thrust and use it to hook an enemy's shield down. Stick that on the end of a Naginata and you've got an awesome weapon.
Khopesh, but yes. It does rock.

When I get this I will be happy until I get a Lee-Enfield MkIII*
