Metal Gear solid 4 belleive it or not. The parts here you could reveal more story by pressing a butten at certain times.

My first QTE was in Shenmue I think. I thought it was pretty cool, because it turns what otherwise might be boring cutscenes into something interactive.

As they say: "*****, this ain't a cutscene! Press A! You don't got time to smoke a bowl! You still playing!"

My first QTE was actually in GoW1 also, I enjoyed it and thought that all QTEs were good... until I met the in-cutscene QTE. during cutscenes I usually put down my controller to take a drink etc. then the next thing I know a big X appears on the screen and then my character faceplants in to a wall or other stuff like that. That made me hate QTEs forever.

Now back to the point. My first QTE I really enjoyed because I was probably gutting some monster since it was in God of War.

If you played it from the start, you would have been throwing around the Hydra inside a boat.
So yes, an awesome QTE.

ah yes, how satisfying was it to nail the fucker to the mast. that probably was my first too. I also hate QTEs, but I also hate games. In the sense that both should be done good, lest they be frustrating.

Sorry, but didn't vote on the poll. My first reaction wasn't extreme enough to warrant either response. It was more of a "huh? Oh, I get it. Okay then." So the closest poll-appropriate blanket statement would have been 'meh'.

Honestly, I didn't even know what QTE where before Yatzhee went over it. I I'd watched that specific episode about 1 or 2 years past. The first time I actually identified something as a QTE was recently in AC2. I am sure that I have experienced them many yimes before, but I can't recall when, or what game.
