Poll: Your first Quick Time Event?

My first QTE was actually in GoW1 also, I enjoyed it and thought that all QTEs were good... until I met the in-cutscene QTE. during cutscenes I usually put down my controller to take a drink etc. then the next thing I know a big X appears on the screen and then my character faceplants in to a wall or other stuff like that. That made me hate QTEs forever.

Now back to the point. My first QTE I really enjoyed because I was probably gutting some monster since it was in God of War.

If you played it from the start, you would have been throwing around the Hydra inside a boat.
So yes, an awesome QTE.

ah yes, how satisfying was it to nail the fucker to the mast. that probably was my first too. I also hate QTEs, but I also hate games. In the sense that both should be done good, lest they be frustrating.

OT: Hm.... QTEs... my first was.... mercenaries 2? Maybe?

I think I didn't express myself right. I 'hate' QTE in the same way I hate games. which means, If not done right, they get me pissed.

I really can't remember. Probably RE4. But really, the God of War games, Indigo Prophecy, and Heavy Rain are the only games that do it perfectly.

Mine was Revenge of the Ninja (I believe that's what it was called) on Sega CD. It was similar to Dragon's Lair in that the entire game was QTE's but I did get through it. A day later I played a Power Rangers game that showed actual episodes but with QTE's in them that you had to hit.
