Simple question, really: When was the first time you encountered pornography?
You may choose for yourself whether you want that to mean "the first time you saw anything of a pornographic nature" or "The first time you encountered porn as a concept, i.e. encountering pornographic material while being aware of what it is".
However, when answering the poll, I want you to only consider the latter of those.
If your experience comes with a funny story; all the better.

I believe I was between seven and nine the first time I encountered a pornographic picture.
I'd watched The phantom menace quite recently. Being a little kid, I was naturally oblivious to quality and only really concerned with how I thought Darth Maul was really awesome.
So I decided to do a google image search of 'Darth Maul'. Not an unreasonable thing to do, many would say.
However, the internet being what it is, the first image that appeared was a picture of two men doing what people do when they take pictures for the internet.
Additionally, the pitcher had Darth Vader's helmet photoshopped over his face, while the catcher's face was covered with a picture of some hobo-looking person in a sun hat.
I, eight year olds being what they are, thought the picture was hilarious, and immediately saved it.
I remember setting it as my profile picture on msn messenger and showing it to a friend before realizing I had no idea how to delete it from the hard drive.
"No biggie", I thought to myself. "Who would be going through the images I'd saved on my family's computer anyways?"
Well, a few days later my parents told me they needed to talk to me in the room where the computer was. Apparently, "my younger sister" was the correct answer to that last question, as evidenced by the fact that the image was now set as the desktop background.
Other than that, the first time I saw porn while really knowing what it was was probably when I was around ten and a couple of older friends decided to direct me to some scat porn (Don't go googling that if you don't know what it is. It's poop, okay?).
