Poll: Your FPS of Choice (Current Generation)

Out of all of the FPS' I've played, I've got to go with COD4. There are a couple that could be contenders, like Crisis, S.T.A.L.K.E.R, and Resistance 2s multilayer is incredible so that has to get a mention.

Ignoring the extremely annoying one-liners(sound file, easily fixed), the game is actually an enjoyable shooter if you like that type of shooter.(think: Serious Sam)
The only problem is that the game is a bit easy, but it does mean I can complete it without ever getting hit.(yes, I played it enough for that)

TF2, one of best online FPS out there in my opinion. One other contender for this may be CoD4 though.

I'd say Halo 3, mostly because I'm new to this generation and it's the only one that I own sadly... but, contrary to what other people say... I actually enjoy it!

Shame no one is online anymore, i just can't find games, and as i'm quite high rank and skill wise, all the hardcore players have changed games really! aha

Really? Sorry, but I dont believe that - I can always get a game - every time I go on social slayer there are usually 70,000 people online!

Polls like this are really, really pointless. That's all I'll say.

Could I ask why? I'm sure that the options included account for a lot of the FPSs regularlly played.

Cod4 is the best in my opinion and it has an amazing online I would only ever own it for the pc though nothing else.

Halo 3, by far - most of the other games on that list aren't even good, although I also like Team Fortress 2.

most of the other games? Cod4, counter strike and The Orange Box is far better than halo.

I've played on Cod 4 and enjoyed Halo 3 more than it.

Therefore, Halo 3 is better.

But, wait... Cod 4 is better than Halo 3, or so you said.

OT: I like all of them(except for CounterStrike), but either Call of Duty or TF2 are my favorites.

I was honestly thinking of putting it in there, but it isn't really an FPS. Yes, it's first person, and yes, it has guns, but there is far more of an emphasis on the idea of surviving a zombie invasion.

That's just one person's opion, of course, but if you consider it a true FPS then by all means vote for it!

Go ahead and shoot me for this; the only single player out of those choices I've ever played was Halo. Without further ado, lets look at multiplayer.

I've only played Halo and CoD from that list.
-Halo wins custom matches and custom levels
-CoD wins for awesome weapons and serious, lightning fast gameplay
-Both are tied for fun multiplayer at parties

So guess what?
