I'd most likely kill myself, but not by pressing the button. I'd fight your compelling magic with every fiber of my being. I find the removal of my free will in this scenario to be a far worse crime than giving me the choice between genocide or suicide.
Not really. Having the other option being killing everyone ever except for one person doesn't really give much of a choice. You have "I die and everyone else lives" or "everyone else dies and I die shortly after because I can no longer get what I need to survive without other people." Even people in suffering often find some enjoyment in life - it's not nice, but at least many have someone to love whatever their life is like. Plus, there are many who are overall enjoying life. And I think you'll find only a small minority of this world actually want to be killed. I've brought this up in the past with pretty much everyone I know. Most say they would rather see everyone else die and continue on a lonely existence. While I understand their choice, I would rather sacrifice my life to save the lives of others.
Why? Because the well-being of others is more important to me than my own well-being. If the sacrifice of one life is enough to keep the human race (and other species, I assume) alive, then there is no doubt. I wouldn't do it to feel better about myself, I'd do it because I'm not a egotistical freak.

Would I kill my girlfriend, my friends and family and everyone I could possibly relate to to save myself. No. Never. I would probably cry about committing suicide when I was so happy though 
What kind of selfish fuckhead would pick themselves over the entire human race? Besides the OP, I mean. Seriously...the entire goddamned human race vs. one jackass. It's not even a contest. I'd kill myself without a second thought. And, as consolation, I get some nice karma for when I hit the reincartion phase.
If everyone on the planet save me were to die, I would die shortly thereafter. Just with what shenanigans are going on the news lately, all the nuclear power plants in the world would no longer be controlled and probably explode/shut down and start leaking radioactive shit everywhere. Electrical power would go out quickly with nobody controlling anything. Food would start to rot. Even if all humans magically vanish poofed away, domesticated animals would all die or go rabid/escape, causing disease by their corpses sitting around and the live ones endangering me.
Heck, even if I were to make it home and use the woodburner for heat and steal everyone around me's gas to power the well, I would still only make it so long on hunting and gathering (and it would suck for me to kill animals, I'm very empathetic). Eventually I'll get sick with something, or hurt somehow, and nobody will be around to give me emergency care, and I'll die. Or maybe there will be enough radiation in the atmosphere, or contaminants from forest fires/natural gas explosions/other disasters that people won't be around to contain or stop, and I'll die from that. There are so many factors that are hard to evaluate unless the situation happens to you, but those are the major issues that spring to my mind.
It seems like an incredibly bleak existence for anyone. I don't know that this is a question of are you selfish enough to value yourself over everyone else, but of do you know your own limitations. I don't think any human can truly survive and live well after an event like this.

You pretty much have to make EVERYTHING yourself, sure you could live of canned beans for a while, but soon you would have to fend for yourself, learn agriculture, water-purification etc. It would be pretty much "Life after people", hope you like going against rabid dogs and other shit.

I would choose to kill the entire human race, all of my experiences with people have not ended well I have no faith in the human race all us humans will do is eventually wipe ourselves out of exsistence so yeah I would choose to kill all of mankind than off myself to stop whatever sentinent life is in the rest of the universe from meeting the repulsive race known as human kind.
Now, while I would like the chance to destroy the human race in the hopes that a race of slightly more intelligent and not human-like sapient beings will make the world not as full of shit as it is right now (I'm a terrible misantrope) I would save them because what the hell would I do on a planet where no humans existed? Naked basketball? It didn't work in the Simpsons it won't work in real life...plus I don't like basketball.
