Not sure if this has been done before but was wondering what political system everyone here adopts?

Edit: Sorry I've know Capitalism is more of an economic system but I'm just going to keep it there to keep things simple

This is a very weird poll. Last time I checked, capitalism was not a political system. Neither was anarchy, really.

My politics are strange...

I'm basically a Left of Center Libertarian/Socialist with occasional bouts of...

"You are all so stupid clearly facism is the only answer"

I'm a full out capitalist, even though I'm poor. In a capitalist society theres money EVERYWHERE you just have to be smart enough to get it.

Actually, anarchy is. However, many people have a wrong definition in mind. Anarchy isn't about a lawless society.

On the other hand, I'm missing a few political standings here. Liberalism, for example.

EDIT:
My views: I'm an anarchist at heart, though humanity is too screwed up to work in that kind of system. I believe that people should be led to such a society through 'evolution', not the revolution which the communists want. That would just leave people confused and pissed off.
And yes, I also have my 'just all die in a totalitarian regime' moments.

As Robyrt pointed out, capitalism isn't a political system; it's an economic system. I'd also argue that communism is also an economic system, but it does kinda blur the lines.

Me, I'm a fan of parliamentary democracy or constitutional monarchy myself, with a mixed economic system or maybe some state capitalism. But that may be my Canadian patriotism talking.

Communism is a political-ideological system. Yes, it has it's ideas on how the economy should (or shouldn't) be run, but it's still political at heart.

These are not political systems, these are economic systems, for the most part.

Not really. If you look at Britain it is to some degree socialist and nobody has lost there freedoms or anything. No system is perfect

Hevoo, are you by any chance a republican? Because you sure as hell sound like it, what with your phobia of socialism. I'm guessing your into rugged indivdualism and laissez faire as well.

They are not socialist programs, not in the sense where you have the government holding the means of production. Look up the word socialism.

1: any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods.

Far as I know public schools, police forces and fire departments bad? Dont make anything.

So lets say if you got a class, and you do all the work and get a A in the class. But the teacher says "everyone has to be equal because we live in the soviet republic of (insert nation), so I will avg all your grades out." So that means all the F students get pushed up and all the A students get pushed down. Now take that example and apply it to economics. Now matter how hard you work you will never get ahead in life, so if you are the best factory worker in all of your soviet republic, you are equal to the laziest....

I lived in Poland I know what Socialism is, and all I can say is F%%% IT!(back in the late 80s)

Now I live in the USA, and I love Capitalism.

No, I'm Liberal but I will not sell myself out to socialistic programs. Capitalism works if its kept in check, socialism does not work at all. You can see that because look at China, they know socialism fails, and they are quickly moving towards capitalism.

Comunism ain't all that bad, it's just most people have got it in their heads that is is bad beacuse of the rusians. It can work just as any other political system can work but only if you haven't got some corrupt power hungry madman as your leader.

That isn't Socialism. Thats Communism. Socialism is a system which helps the working class with free health care and free education but still maintains the basic capitalist values
