Which publisher you align your self with, you feel loyal too etc, and post why.

If you don't know what a subsidiary is, its a child company for example, Bethesda, maker of games such as fallout 3 and the elder scrolls series is a subsidiary of Zenimax media

also don't get mad that I didn't put your favorite up there, There are a lot of big ones I cant fit them all, and there IS an other and Indie option.

Indie make some great games, some that are my favorite and that are the best games of all time.

Valve is great, but for me it goes Nº 2. Still it's pretty near to it, as I do not have any complain for it.

I'd cast my lot with Activision because they've got Bungie for the next ten years and I'm interested in what they're going to do... But I don't really like anything else they do.

So I'll go with Valve.

I pledge my sword to whoever is doing the best job for the industry during that year.

That said, I rarely pledge my sword for a publisher. It's my sword, they can't have it.

I seriously love EA at the moment. They've just turned themselves around completely and they're actually being amazing right now.

Activision Blizzard, because I have loved them since they brought me the joy that was Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness, Starcraft, and Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos.

They are still pure, and I know it... Activision, however, must burn.

Persona 3 FES and Persona 4 push Atlus to the top of my list, although Square Enix are a close second. That being said, I don't particularly dislike any publishers, so they all form a sort of semi-close third.

I feel more loyal to the developers rather than the publishers. Bioware is my favourite developer but EA doesn't win any awards for being a good publisher in my books.

I suppose as far as publishers go I would have to say Valve because of their massive support for PC gamers.

2k games is a subsidiary of take-two interactive, they also own rockstar.

Also epic games is not a publisher. they are only a developer. they're a third party developer for microsoft game studios.

Ubisoft.

- Assassin's Creed (excluding Altair's Chronicles)
- Prince of Persia (Sands of Time TRILOGY)
- Beyond Good & Evil
- No More Heroes 1 & 2
- Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter

That pretty much covers it.

None. I refuse to pledge myself to any publisher, since they all seem keen to piss me off one way or the other.

Activision - complete dickbags
EA - Just because they're doing better now doesn't mean I can forgive them for their past. I had to erase my damn hard drive to get rid of all the secuROM crap that Spore installed without my permission.
2K - So much retarded DRM in Bioshock 1+2, then lying about removing them, then selling a code to activate DLC that was already on the disk. Its not downloadable content if its on the damn disk. If its on the disk its content you locked out to charge the player base an extra $10 you pricks.
Epic - Abandoning the PC
Ubisoft - Fuck you and your always online DRM
Valve - Steam is still screwy. Also, having to connect to the internet to start in offline mode COMPLETELY DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF AN OFFLINE MODE!
Indy - Not sure if you can count indy devs as publishers...

And yeah, those are my issues.

Since you combined Activision and Blizzard I'm going with Valve
thats the name of the parent publishing company....

activision is a child of activision blizzard, and so is blizzard. well in reality Vivendi is the REAL parent, but then you guys would be like "what the hell is a Vivendi", though it really only holds stakes in the company.
