Never laughed during an episode.
I found it annoying but then again, it's a sitcom. How many sitcoms are actually good?

The Inbetweeners?
I lack the firepower. I'll use a stick insteadTipsy Giant said:Your friends have a terrible sense of humour, introduce them to some Arrested Development and if they prefer 2 & 1/2 Men shoot them, it's for the good of the worldburzummaniac said:So, last week I decided to have a sleep-over at a friend's house. At around midnight, one of my friends(There were several of us) decided that we should watch the ENTIRE 7th season of Two and a Half Men. My other friends, being unashamed fan-boys of the show, jumped on this opportunity, nearly drooling at the mouth.
Few people can comprehend my hatred for that damn show. For the 4 or 5 hours we spent watching that show, there wasn't even a SINGLE moment in which I laughed. I just found all the jokes to be stale, dry and generally unfunny, but for some reason, my friends loved it to bits. After a few hours, I decided to pack it up and leave(I lived about 20 minutes away by walk) after one of my friends said I had no sense of humor.
Is there something that I'm missing here!? What is so special about this show and why? Do I really have no sense of humor?
So Escapists, what is your opinion on this show?
You lucky Bastard, i'd love to be back in your position encountering them fresh all over againburzummaniac said:Never heard of them. Curb your Enthusiasm is the best "sitcom" on TV. Larry David is a genius.Julianking93 said:Seen it a few times.

EDIT: Okay, some of you didn't get what I meant, so I'll rephrase the question to be more clear;
"How many currently airing sitcoms are actually good?"
It really depends on what you class as a sitcom. By it's broadest definition Situation Comedy could take in CSI Miami, House, Dexter...all of which are good.Julianking93 said:"How many currently airing sitcoms are actually good?"
Just going to point out that I completely agree with you. And whether or not you think the same of South Park, I definitely do. I'm baffled at the fact that so many people that think of themselves as the most intellectual people in the world love this show. Talk about lowest common denominator in reference to Two and a Half Men all you want, but Family Guy guns for that audience twice as hard.Zeithri said:And that is why I hate it.
It tries to hard to just be retarded that it's so unlikeable.
Peter Griffin is completely unlikeable.
There is NOTHING likeable with that show.
