It's fun to watch it's totally fake but it's fun to imagine they are actually being hit......plus the women's fighting is pretty fun to watch. (I know it's sexist but I don't care)

For the record I'm not a huge wrestling fan, used to watch it alot but haven't for several years, it's just some of the things people say about it are laughable. Fair enough if you don't like it, but saying that it is gay, or thinking people don't realised it's not staged is just silly.

First off, that wasn't a question, secondly, as someone stated above, even the most powerful man in the buisness, Vince McMahon, admits it's all staged and just for entertainment. No one's trying to disguise anything.Sparrow Tag said:
I used to watch it alot, even going to two events live. I like the older wrestling when people actually hit each other. The thing is, people say how fake it is, yet, alot of those moves will hurt, even if the people in the ring try not to make it so. Listen, even though it is fake, one move going wrong can fuck up some part of your body, especially moves like 'piledrivers' or 'ddt' I mean, your neck is literally on the line and depends on the other person not to screw it up.

All you need to know is he and everyone in the industry will readily admit wrestling is staged, therefore disguising nothing. It is the same as any catoon/movie/sitcom/anime.Sparrow Tag said:

I will not deny there is definetely some athleticism involved in it, but to me its like a testasterone fueled mix between gymnastics and ballet with a hint of homo-eroticism thrown in with "stories" in the background of it all.

Wrestling doesn't try and convince you it's real anymore than anything else. Yes, if someone takes a hit the commentators will say "Bah gawd! That must of hurt!", but are you telling me that if in a drama someone gets shot they react with, "Well, I've been shot, but it isn't real so I'm okay". They don't except you to geniunely believe what they're doing is real. The wrestlers are actors portraying characters, just like in any other tv show.
