I think that for some reason the movie made me like the comedian allot more,

maybe it was him Flamethrowering people to death Just cant be done justice on paper.
well he's also supposed to be portrayed as a nazi-esque personality...

The characters were entertaining (especially rorshach, or however you spell his name) but the ending seemed kinda . . . hollow. So shitloads of people die and the silk spectre and the guy who's name has escaped me just shrug and say 'oh well' and go and have a normal life?
While I'm not exactly a fan of sickeningly happy endings, what the hell is up with it?

I admit I saw the movie first and had entered the cinema with no idea what to expect to I got to say the movie I saw was a masterpiece. Then I read the comic and I think I like them both equally.
Same here, but I think the comic was actually much better. Not that the movie was bad, it's just that the book was better.

I liked them both - but the comic is superior just because it has more content and it explains things a little more.
While I agree to a certain extent, I think the movie did the ending better if you know what I mean
Really... a giant squid?

I turned the page and instantly loved the entire comic! total WTF and suddenly all the subplots made sense. The movie did a more realistic ending.
