Eldar, the smug pricks. Everyone else is just happy to be shooting off at each other but the Eldar are just so self-rightous about it. Not even in the cool fanatical way, either...

This, I hate those bloody smug bastards. I know that everyone is busy killing one another but god they are always bastards about everything they do, even getting a glass of water they are so smug. Plus I hate bloody elves so let every faction use them for target practice. [/rant]

Tyranids are the biggest threat. Obviously the foul entities of the warp seek to corrupt mankind and drive it to self extermination but chaos cant function without squishy mortals to seduce and after the tyranids reduce the galaxy to a bunch of lifeless floating rocks the chaos gods wont have fuck all to do.

Theres some particularly nasty fanfic out there that has suggested Slaanesh may have corrupted a Tyranid hive....

But I had Nids the most, damn fast movers always get in to close combat because my first turn of shooting historically has always sucked.

Well, I've been playing 40K since 2nd edition, and I've yet to see them win one.

I play Tyranids, and hate Eldar. My first game, a 500 pointer, I won with 6 Genestealers. In their first round of shooting, they killed all but my 6. Tore that squad to pieces with 18 attacks, made them flee, chased down the remainders.

The look on his face was priceless. Fucking space elves. We hates the nassty elves! (yes, I'm watching Lord of the Rings right now...)

Also, this is probably more roleplaying right here than I've seen in any RP server on a MMORPG, or in Games Workshop...

I know damn near nothing about the game, despite having put together a 2000pt list because I just love painting, modeling and the story so damn much. That said, I'd have to say the Space Marines are a huge threat to Orks and Chaos forces, as they're stupidly well-armoured, too good at close combat, never run away, and keep getting new special characters and cheap support. I can't corner and decimate them in close combat, I can't nuke 'em to death, and I can't bow and arrow them to oblivion either.

Not to mention they dominate every new release... "Hmm, just released Tyranids, what to do? Oh, I know! More Space Marines. Tau is finished and out, what next? More Space Marines. Chaos Daem-MORE SPACE MARINES. Hey, maybe we should update the races that haven't had their turn for years? Naah! SPACEMARINESslurpslurp"

the orks. I've built my army to kill orcs and tyranids. i swear i kill at least 150 orcs every time i verse them with not even a third of that numbers casualty's on ms side. and i still lose allot. Those gue'la die sooooo easy. there tanks get absolutely wiped out and there infantry are shredded. but I'm always frustrated by orcs no matter how many bastards i kill there are always more. Plus in fiction the orcs are the most consistent threat to anyone anyway. maybe not the greatest threat but the most ever present.

there is no hope for the orcs.
they will never see the greater good.
we must save them from themselves.
The orcs mus die.

they will hate us for it.
but it must be done.
Their courage must be broken.
