I use a different lore when considering Vampires. I use the World of Darkness one.

I suck my fill from them, but enough to keep them alive. Don't turn them into vampires or anything though, just drink a bit and then move to the next person.

Scenario: While you were out late at night, a guy approaches you quickly and bites you on the neck and begins sucking you blood. (surprise surprise) Somehow you survive this attack and make your way home. Over the next week you have come to terms with the fact that you're becoming a vampire, (sharp teeth, sunlight sensitivity etc...) now you have an important decision to make.

You're craving blood, and the hunger (thirst?) is consuming your every thought, how will you satisfy the craving?
