Simple question, how do you pronounce the last letter of the english language? What region do you live in (optional)? (I want to see if there is a strong regional correlation)

I pronounce it "zed", and am Canadian. "zee" to me just sounds wrong.

In the name of Zod!

I say Zee, though I figure maybe I should say Zod, just to appease the inner Diablo nerd.

Note: I am Canadian and still pronounce it Zee. It just fits with the rest of the alphabet. Doubleyou still sounds awkward though, we should make it pronounced "Wii" instead of "Doubleyou" because "Doubleyou" makes no sense at all, it's not representative of what the letter sounds like and it looks more like double-V than double-U.

I have to admit, this poll was very confusing until I read the OP...

Zee over here, and I'm Canadian.

Is that all the discussion that there is?

I'm partial to "Zee" myself.
I've yet to encounter anyone who pronounces it "Zed" O__O

Zee, and I'm American.

Zed just screws up the alphabet song. "...QRS, TUV, W, X, Y and ZED." Just throws off the whole rhyme pattern it had going.

Zee, seriously the rest of the "english" speaking countries need to get with the times... and by that I mean do whatever we do here in the USA.

Kidding, actually growing up so close to Canada, then living in Canada for two years, and playing hockey in Canada I grew used to it.

Zee, I live in Northeastern USA. I think I should start using Zed just so people give me weird looks.

I'm pretty sure everyone in England pronounces it "Zed"

"Zee" just sounds weird.

The pronunciation "zee" is in keeping with the standard set by all other letters (except the multi-syllabic oddball w). That standard is that the phonetic spelling of the pronunciation contains no more than one consonant.

Zed, definitely. (I'm English, by the way)

Zee just sounds like a retarded Bee.
