I say Zed, because that's just how you say it. Saying "zee" makes you sound like a queen.

Zed, and England.

Typical American response it seems, to always go for the easy way out like removing the dreaded U in such despicable words as colour and... others.

Zed, although I'm aware of the difference and try to use Zee where appropriate (example: ZZ Top). I'm from Germany.

I'm usually really picky about the whole, dropping th U in colour and other Americanised spelling errors alternatives to English-English.
Such as our tendency to switch "s" for "zee" in words such as "Americanized."

Zed, unless it's in a phrase. For example, I pronounce the Starcraft matchup Zerg vs Zerg's abbreviation as Zee Vee Zee, because it rhymes and that's how I first heard it.

Zed for general use though. Canadian.

See now I was trying to think of another example and it just wouldn't come to me. Thank you for jogging my memory.

Zed, to the point where I asked my housemate to turn off "that damn Jay-Zed music" because it was too loud.

It's zed in the english language, for some reasons Americans feel the need to change the language. I'm in Australia, we speak English, not American English so we say zed.
