[HEADING=1]JONAS BROS.[/HEADING]
they need to stop with the Teenie poppy music it SUCKS
The title says popular.

Everybody hates them.

I have no idea how anyone thinks anyone else likes them.
They're popular with girls.
They listen to music, now? What are they gonna do next? Vote?

Sexism, it tastes good. Like a sandwich.

Daft Punk - All songs sound the same.
Ha. You're not allowed an opinion on anything. Ever.

Paramore, Hedley... granted I have a couple songs on my list, which makes me sound like a hypocrite, but that's a bare minimum of, like, 2 songs for Hedley, 1 for Paramore and I'm only listening because I like the lyrics. My friends are obsessed with these bands and it gets soooooo very annoying to have them duke it out with their docking stations. -_-

Anything on popular radio. Seriously, it's fucking terrible (for the most part). There's the occasional gem, but otherwise it's mostly crap.

How do you hate a band "on principle"? That doesn't even make sense, that just sounds like you're hating something just for the sake of hating it.

I dislike most mainstream music, and most bands that everyone says are absolute classics. The main one of these being ACDC.
They're alright when you first listen to them, but then it's very annoying.
Oh, and I absolutely hate Lynard Skynard.

I don't necessarily dislike them, but I'm not a big fan of Led Zeppelin. I can listen to them, but Robert Plant's voice is a bit grating after a while, and the instruments aren't really spectacular enough for me to get past that, usually. And "Stairway to Heaven" is the single most overrated, overplayed, and faux-deep songs I've ever heard. And I listen to Coheed and Cambria.

Edit: NEver mind, I just got reminded by an earlier post of U2. That is a decent band with a singer that has an ego the size of Mount Olympus, and is trying too hard to sound awesome. REverb on every chorus, "deep" lyrics...I don't hate them, but they are not as good as they think they are.

You know, with all these comments saying the same thing, I'm starting to think none of these bands are popular at all.

Just to be safe, I'm going to make up a band I know everybody would love, but I would hate.

I really dislike the band "Ninja Dinosaurs".

Any and all bands owned by Disney however I commend their fans for some of the greatest comic relief in the history of a YouTUbe comment thread, they are so unintentionally funny sometimes.

I gotta say I can't stand The Beatles.

Yeah I know they influenced alot of todays music but I just find them depressing.
I respect your opinion, but I can't understand how you can find them "depressing."

All. Of. Them.

From 1980 to the present day, there have been a few songs I've liked, but no bands I've liked.

OT: Slipknot, I like metal but I don't find anything redeeming about that band.
And basically 85% of pop bands.

Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers, O good lord. My poor ears could barely take it when I listened to the crap

and slightly OT but: Lady Gaga WTF how someone like him/her(idk which so screw it) ever got signed much less a fanbase/following is entirely beyond me
Let's anylise the name for clues as to what gender this "lady gaga" person is.

Let's see.... Lady gaga.

Now that wasn't so hard, was it?
thats beside the point, Im just saying I don't get how she has got signed much less has any fans.
