Borderlands (I just couldn't get into it)
Oblivion (I found it vastly inferior to Fallout 3 and Mass effect /flamesuit on)
Army of Two (Gears of War and I didn't even like that game very much)
Gears of War (I have a hard time getting into this one)
Modern warfare 2 (I just can't bring myself to play multi-player for more than half an hour)
Before anyone flames me I really, really tried to get into these games but just couldn't do it.

What are your guys least favorite popular games

I could never get into FFXII for some reason. The battle system was just wonky to me.

Was Farcry 2 ever popular? Didn't quite enjoy that. I'm glad I didn't pay for it.
Gears of War. Fun to make fun of, less fun to play.
Final Fantasy. Never actually played one. Perhaps I'll try with this newer one. Lost Odyssey did show me that games of that sort can actually be fun to play, anyway.

Modern Warfare 2, I watched my nephew play it and it made me dizzy.
Gears of War, seriously any game where I can describe the main protagonist using the word "compensating" is not looking like a winner.

Uh...let's see...*flips through files* Couldn't get into the SOCOM series. I like Third-person shooters a bit [when you can switch to first person], but it just seemed basic run-n-gun. Except Tactical Strike was supposed to be different, but I felt like playing an RTS on a console where the A button doesn't do shit.

Farcry 2 was the single most annoying game I have ever played. I even beat it, but i was incredibly angry whenever i stopped playing it, not because it was terrible, but because if they fixed 3 things it could have been great. Instead it played like GTA4 with a 2 star wanted level for the entire game. Practically every intersection had a checkpoint full of guards that would shoot your jeep and then chase you in theirs, forcing you to jump out, kill them, and take the other jeep. Weapon degradation that forced you to reload if you gun jammed got really annoying during the last mission because you had no way of fixing it, and none of the enemies weapons were any better. Stealth only works if there isn't a sniper who can see you in a shadow a mile away. But it looked beautiful, the fire mechanics were great, the weapon variety worked, and the level design was some of the best i've ever seen.

Oblivion.

I found it vastly superior to Fallout 3, but then, I thought that sucked, so I'm not exactly one to trust on that issue.

Oh, and i couldn't get into mass effect either, although I did finish that.

I hate Modern Warfare 2 as well, mainly because everyone else on there owned the first one so had a years more experience than me.... and I kinda sucked at it.

As for oblivion, I suppose it's a matter of tatse. Personally I loved it, but swords and sorcery aren't everyone's thing. And you have to bear in mind that it's a good few years younger than Fallout 3, they took the original engine then tweaked and expanded it to make it better. For it's day I'd argue that Oblivion was better.

Shun! Shun the non believer!
*Ahem*

Anyway.
CoD4. I dunno, it just seemed like the game could never make its mind up about what I should do, and I gave up eventually.

I could go on for ages, since I think in the last few years there has been an organised attempt to make me hate video games, but one praticular case is CoD4. I respect that it was trying very hard, but you just killed far too many people. This si the same problem I have had with all CoD games. I realise that it is normal to kill an obscene number of people in games, but the contrast was so stark between the realism of the games set pieces and the absurd actions you had to undertake that I could not respect it.

I really enjoyed MW2 though. There were only a couple moments that felt thoroughly implausible. I can't say why this is, but there was clearly some better game design at work here. I wish MW2 had been released first.

Dragon Age: Origins. Hated the Combat. Hate, hate, hate.
FFVII: Quickly realised I wasn't enjoying playing it despite everyone saying it was brilliant.
Any button press to sing/play instrument game.
Overlord.
Baldurs gate. Rather hard.
GTA games.
KOTOR, it really bored me.
Half life.
Resident Evil 4. Without zombies to make up for the gameplay I lost interest pretty quickly.
