Bioshock it jsut had a generic shooter feel to it. Idk, i hate that it won game of the year, every aspect of it pissed me off. a shooter that was mediokre, the 'scary' part of it was a flop. it wasnt in-depth for me. Oh how i loathe game reviewers lovey dovey relationship with a average piece of work.....

Halo 3, just because I liked the first 2 and this one was such a dissapointment comparitively.

Oblivion, Way too slow and you lose sight of what you are supposed to be doing, I'd much rather be playing kotor or dragon age for an rpg.

These styles have been done too much. Now if you'll excuse me, i';m going to go play Turok, brutal legend, and MW2. :)

Splinter Cell Double Agent and Conviction
Fallout 3

And a fuckload more.
EXISTENCE FAILURE. Conviction isn't out yet. You're now irrelevant.

I don't hate games that are popular... they're popular for a reason.

Does WoW count? Or is that flameable? (damn zombies) I don't hate it as a game as such, but what it does to people.

I've always hated Halo.
I liked the first, had fun with the second, the third got annoying and old fast.

ODST dared to be different, so I enjoyed that.

Final fantasy. The games were good back then but they're using its past popularity to make up for now, as soon as the game comes out oh suddenly every character is 'a different masterpiece' and 'there is no wrong with this game'.

It looks like a generic RPG, and by generic I mean it created the standard.
the one reason I can never hate final fantasy is that it single-handedly saved an entire company.

that doesn't stop me from hating ffx-2, though, god that game got old fast, and the origional ffx's only good part was blitzball.

FIFA. Oh god. [random color] people vs [random color] people. Period. How could someone play this game for weeks in a row.

Anything with regenerating health. The modern mix of RPG and FPS. Games where graphics and realism takes precedence over fun and storyline.
how can you hate both regenerating health and realism?

i hate:
the whole legend of zelda series; for copypasting the same game over and over
gears of war; for looking like a handful of gravel thrown into a pile of dirt
mmorpgs; booooooooooooooring, with ps1 graphics
the call of duty series: for distracting millions of gamers from truly unique, innovative shooters with its pretty graphics and nade spam
The wii; 'nuff said (except 4 super mario galaxy 2)

I don't exactly hate Gears of War, but I never liked it. Multiplayer is boring and same with the campaign, but damn it looks good.

i was just saying that the only colors in the game are grey, brown, and red. it does pull that off pretty well, but it's not my thing

Modern Warfare 2. Hear me out. I usually only ever buy games for single-player, as I hate multiplayer to bits, (with the exception on LittlebigPlanet, because you don't get swearing angst-ridden teenagers there.) There wasn't much of MW2's single-player, I felt a bit like IW had taken the Piss out of me. Seven hours? That is ridiculous, even for a game that focuses on multiplayer. Just look at COD4. That was a decent length, MW2's campaign was just foul. (In length, it was still fun, just really really short.)

the strange thing is that I really like the first Halo game, then the second one was ok but didnt keep me playing too long, but I really liked Halo 3... Maybe it was the forge mode? It just felt like the game I wished Halo 2 to be. At least gameplay wise, the story has let me down ever since the first Halo... they had potential in that field

Theyre not entirely games that changed my life or anything but they really are so much fun to play with friends and just for a good, stupid shooting time.

HALOZ ARE TE WERTS SHOTAR E I'm so sorry I don't even know why I did that.

I tend to look for the good in the mainstream games that get punted around so much here. I genuinely enjoyed the Halo 2/3, Gears of War lightened my day, Mass Effect's empty planets still kept me up all hours. So, honestly, I don't hate any 'popular games' I have.

Luckily, Dirge of Cerberus wasn't too popular, huh? What a pile of bad THAT was.
