My friends have nagged me for a very long time to try dead space, and now that I finally have, it hasn't lived up to any expectations I had at all. After ten minutes it got boring, with tedious fighting, and cheap attempts to scare. What other popular games could you not enjoy as much as everyone else seemed to?

COD anything. Sure they are pretty and the gameplay seems solid. I just don't like shooting squishy humans in the face.

InFAMOUS

At the beginning I was enjoying it, but the more it went on the more bored I became. When you're so bored you fall asleep during a boss fight, something is wrong. I just can't see what people love about the game.

Fallout 3. It seemed fun at first but after you get out of the vault the game really stopped being fun for me.

Halo any of them,
Gears of War,
Call of Duty,

You know all those competative shooter type games... I just can't get into them, possibly because I really suck and get my backside handed to me all the time.

Modern Warfare and Dragon Age. I have to try some other BioWare games to see if I have something against them. DA felt a bit bland..

Alone in the Dark was really confusing and not fun at all. And whenever I had to jump to the next episode because I had no idea what to do to get forward I lost everything.
I remember the time I jumped forward to the first park episode because this black goo thing kept killing me and suddenly I had nothing but a few bullets and the torchlight, but faced three zombies. No fire nearby and bullets are no help at all. Fuck that.

I couldn't get into Bioshock, everyone kept telling me how great it was, how awesome, but I just couldn't get into it, the controls were clunky, the weapons sucked... and I just plain didn't enjoy it.

It's heresy to admit this though, since apparently it's the second coming of gaming...

I'm bored with CoDs and Battlefields (except 1943).
The new MoH game falls into this category as well.
I don't like JRPGs in general.

Yeah, those are the ones I don't care for.

Half Life 2. I've tried getting into this game several times, and I don't dislike it by any stretch if the imagination, but I just can't stick with it.

Fallout 3) I hate it for calling itself Fallout. It's like team paintball calling itself chess 2.
Halo) It's only gameplay gimmick is extreme inventory limitation. So, I kill aliens in Duke Nukem, instead.
Soul Calibur 4) Firstly, jedi. Anyone who's fought them knows how cheap they are. Secondly, the best stuff requires tests of skill woefully beyond the average player and frustratingly beyond the above-average.
Command & Conquer) There are no inherent problems: on-the-fly micro-management simply isn't my cup of tea.

Yeah me too. The genre as a whole, never could force myself to like it.

I got Gears of War 2 for cheap.

After a few samey levels, I felt like screaming "Shut the hell up about your missing wife or girlfriend or whatever and let me get to this next room containing several waves of generic enemies."

Also, your muscles are retardedly big. Insultingly big. Anatomically impossibly big. Were you breast fed Creatine or something?

Also, the story is terrible. Really, really terrible. Giant worms? Subterranean aliens? The rookie that dies? Extremely short sighted strategies? Pointless quests? Dialogue just crammed with meaningess cliches?

I'll never buy another Gear of War game...

I was at my cousin's place once and he had a couple of his friends over, they all wanted to play Modern Warfare and wanted me to join in. In less than a minute I was bored out of my mind. I cannot understand how people enjoy Call of Duty games.

BioShock was another I couldn't get into. Borrowed it from my cousin - same one - along with Quake IV. I played Quake IV right through til the end, I don't think I even finished the basic tutorial of BioShock.

Halo is a given. It's just... meh. The multiplayer can be fun... for about five minutes.

I feel tempted to say Half-Life 2, but mostly because I just never really bothered to play it or even look into it. I played some parts of the first but then just forgot about it. Felt generic, I guess.

Sims 3. I was so looking forward to this game after playing the hell out of The Sims 2. So when I got Sims 3? What. A. Letdown.

I preordered the Collector's Edition even... At least I got a cool flash drive.
