EDIT: I do know she is alive, now. I do know there was that whole song deal that you people keep reminding me of. But i'm not braindead, I did play the game the whole way through and I just interpreted it differently to most people. I thought the song was like a dark suicide note or something similar. I didn't expect it to be literal. If this does not answer your "GLADOS IS ALIVE, SHE IS CLEARLY THERE" type responses, feel free to quote me so I can tell you what I wrote above again.

It's called Portal 2, of course they're using the same characters and storyline... it's a sequel... like the next one.

Looks awesome! Graphically it seems to have gotten quite a bit better too. It seems much more fast paced as well. CANNOT WAIT!!! (I can actually... because I have too.)

Anyway, I'm happy we'll get to play as Chell again and I love the ideas they've shown at E3 so far. Still hoping for HL2:E3 though. *fan girl scream*

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy as hell there's going to be a Portal 2 but I'm more pissed they're not porting it to the PC unless I messed something or that's planned for later. I don't have the cash for a PS3 or and Xbox; I have a Wii and a PC. Guess what I use for my real gaming? Looks like Steam will feel like it's missing something come 2011.

Ahem. I was raging a bit in the other thread about how the "surprise" was just the fact it was coming to the PS3, but now I genuinely forgive them for it simply because of that line.

Whatever, knowing Valve, this is a much bigger surprise than L4D3 or what have you. It'll be interesting to see what hoops Valve puts the PS3 through.

honestly i will get it and enjoy it
but have they unvieled thir big suprise yet
EDIT: was the suprise really that it was going to be on the PS3
the orange box was on the PS3 its not much of a suprise
you cant keep stalling Valve make something with both Half Life and the number 3 in the title

Portal was an experiment (amusingly). That's why it was so short. Portal 2 will probably be as long as Half-Life 2.

Okay, so it's safe to say.

Portal 2 will be delayed until December 21st, 2012. The sheer greatness from that game is what will cause the world to end.

I care not for Half Life, and I'm sorry to say L4D2 (not a starwars character) is now worthless to me as well, I'll look forwards to them but Portal 2 has licence to be the greatest game ever, if valve fuck it up I swear to any god who'll list i'll... have to live with it.
I though the point if the first game was to get Appature Science's new development out of beta (testing), and sure, at the end the adroid and the portal gun both got out. what's GLADos doing this time? I can't wait.
shame about the turrets though, I want to see at least some new characters in it, anyone know who the co-op character is? will they expect a share of the cake?
