my lifelong dream is to use portal technology to cut people in half. neither Portal nor Time hollow capitalized on this idea and it aggravates me to no end. if i can't cut people in half i'd just as soon have the super gravity gun and launch them neck-first into walls.
Portal Gun.
I can make one half of a portal in my room, then ship the device to a freind in a less dead end town and have him/her/it make the other half. I cross over with all my stuff, seal off the portal and never return.

Grav Gun. Portal Gun has a bunch of limitations of what can and can't have a portal placed on, plus once you go past a certain area your portals are gone (yeah, I know that they wouldn't be about real world, but still.). But the Gravity Gun can throw shit at anyone!

Close, but I'll go with gravity gun. Could definitely help with cleaning out the garage. It depends. what's the range you could fire a portal?
Can it be the Gravity Gun Redux? Then I could zap jerks. If not, I'll just put a orange portal on the side of a cliff at the bottom of the ocean and then a blue one under someone, and then after they go through put the orange one next to the blue one.
I want a Valve game in which the only things you need are BOTH! Seriously, Gravity Gun + Portal Gun in 1 game is epic. I'd rather they combine them than unequip it.

I would easily kill myself with the Portal gun, so I'd go with grav. But only if it's the augmented Gravity gun. Pretty much all you could safely do with the standard gravity gun is move furniture.
Remember that the only reason the Portal main character can fall great distances from the Portal gun's portals and live is because she has things to break the fall. Since we don't have any heel springs, most of you would have snapped legs. So, for me, I choose Gravity Gun because why would you want to break your legs when you can accidentaly flatten yourself into a bloody pulp!
I'd definitely take the portal gun, though I'd probably manage to hurt myself within the first five minutes of acquiring it.
Portal gun basically the Portal gun is actually both of them. You get to pick up objects with it as well as make portals. Actually, I don't think you can pick turrets up with it but I've never tried.
Portal gun, it would be so much easier than walking, I just have to be ready when I make one on the ceiling.
