Joe walked to the gun shop where the man he just met headed. and he says:
"I accept your offer to come along". and he stretches his arm to shake hands.

"Thank you", I breath, quite bewildered at the assistance offered.

"My brother lays about five days hike in that direction", I point taking my bearings, "It maybe hard to spot if we are going as fast as you say, it wasn't chosen to attract attention"

I decide instead of waking rick, to also rest, hopping onto the strange vehicle and relaxing.

"Sgt, perhaps I should take a leaf from rick and rest, its been a long day"

"The Federation?", I smirk, "I'm fine with them, when they area bout 3 miles away from me"

I normally don't need much rest and I drop into a semi-conscious state still alert to changes in the surrounding.

"Three miles away is long enough" Bartelby thought to himself with a shrug. At the least it suggested that if the Federation were less than three miles away he could count on an ally. Two actually. "Wow" Bartelby whispered to himself amazed as the truth dawned on him. "I have two allies. I haven't had two allies since ... well ..." It was tough to remember. 60% of his life after leaving the military had been running. There were people he had run past or run behind but no clear allies really stood out. It was more ... people who weren't shooting at him yet.

He looked back at the sleeping pair. "Eh, someone's got to drive." Bartelby figured it was better he drove than either of the others. They hadn't been through the training. They hadn't been taught by the military to go days without sleep, food, water or warmth in the worse conditions a man can imagine. Admittedly Bartelby had failed so miserably at that particular training procedure he still held the record for quickest surrender in The Academy's history; and Jasper was still probably missing his finger ...

Nonetheless, it seemed to him that it was his responsibility. Bartelby turned The Bike 90 degrees and started the engine. "Next stop, the Barrens."

Pedro, I think that raps up us 3. The next 6 days are going to be rather busy for me so the weekend break is kind of welcome. I still intend to post at least once a day once it starts up again but I can't gaurnatee it. If something important happens and I'm not there feel free to have me tag along/run for my life. Whichever is more appropriate.

Epicness! Can't wait for more on this game. I'm glad that I managed to join. Onwards.
What did you guys think when you created your characters? I, admittably, used my pregenerated stock template character design for this one, since I though that it would fit well in with the setting anyway. Being a game seemingly very gun-centric, I thought it would be a distinct drawback and a source for sillyness to hamper my character with the inability to use firearms.

I hoped that this would outweigh his medical abilites and knowlege, though in hindsight I maybe should have choosen a different field of knowlege, given the fact that
...and a "good rest" will cure almost everything...

I have been out since Friday doing things. My plan was to just run and stalk anyone who seemed to know where they are going, good call Pedro.

I think a healer is very useful, to cure from major to minor wounds far quicker than a "good rest" ever could.

I won't be back till tomorrow midday I believe so lets say we are sill travelling at a reduced speed, not to miss the location.

TURN: Bo, content with the murder he had just handed out sat back down to the coutner and amused himself with his food and drink. The bullets still raged around him, but after a moment it all died down. The next thing he knew, there was a large bang then he was surrounded by flames licking at his skin. This confused Bo greatly, and made his brain hurt, and that made him angry. In a fit of infant like rage Bo began to throw tables and chairs through the walls of the bar, smashing peices of the building foundation, before throwing himself through the wall.

He stood up, brushing the dirt off of himself, bits of fire still burning on his skin. He looked up to notice several people were gathering outside of the bar. "Why boom?" Asked Bo.

Sorry for not posting for a bit. Been a busy week.

TURN: John rushed outside when he heard the explosion. He was glad to see no more Jeeps around. John quickly ran around to the front of the bar. From outside the door John was seen
"Bo want food" he said holding up the plate of food he stole earlier.
"Come Bo get the food"

I like the way this is a much slower paced RP can we keep it this way?

I don't mind the pace either, gives me a bit more time to think things out and re-read spots where i had thought of different plot elements. I think we could go a little faster, maybe get each person a turn, and one step into story progression each day?

Roland, half of the map in hand, walks calmly out of the ruins of the Rat and Rotgut towards his bike. He wipes a trickle of blood from his lip and examines his fragment of the clue...this is going to be more difficult that he thought.

With a roar, the bike comes to life, carrying its rider after the man with the other half of the vital clue....

Roland half smiles.

"Run as you will....I will find you."
for the next week or so, I'm following Jago, going to either team up with him or try and forcefully relieve him of the rest of the map and the bit of metal
"And so the hunt begins..."

Yeah, the pace is really good. I don't have to worry about an EPIC WALL O' TEXT to read through when I come back.

We'd been riding for sometime, and the harsh sun bite down upon us. I came to my fully senses about 2 hours in, full rested. The rest of the journey I kept my eyes and ears open for my home, a well covered location. This wasn't the easiest tasks at this high speed but I managed, and as we approached the sixth hour of our journey I shouted to Sgt to slow down. In the distance, barely noticeable there was a small hill of some sort.

"Head towards that", I pointed.

As we got closer, not so small as it seemed from far, emerged an old sunken bunker, smothered by the surrounding sands. We eventually got there and stopped smoothly (Sgt was not bragging when he said he was good), The entrance wasn't too clear either but from this distance it didn't leave Sgt too clueless.

"Rick, we're here" I nudge him.

Jago sits by the his campfire, out in the wastes beyond the limits of town. He is slowly turning the odd metal object over and over, inspecting every inch of it. It glints in the firelight. Mercedes is asleep nearby, worn out from the speedy flight from the tavern.

*Its been a long an interesting day* Jago thinks. He thinks about tall man that had the other half of his map. Would it be favourable to reconcile and join forces? *No* he concluded, the man seemed too dangerous. He could not be trusted. Jago then thought of the wounded rebel and the medical type man. They had spoken to the thin man before he died. They must surely have some information of value. Jago resolved to track them down.

*Tomorrow, the hunt begins* He places the mysterious artifact back in his pack and pulls his sleeping back over him and goes to sleep, with one eye open of course.
