EPISODE 1: EPILOGUE

As everyone leaves the bar sirens and bright lights can be heard in the distance, the telltale signs of the law approaching. After a few more minutes a tall, dark skinned man with a long black overcoat adorned with silver flames steps into the flaming remnants of the tavern. His hair is composed of long dark dreadlocks and he wears a simple straw hat on his head. Over one eye he wears an eye patch and between his lips rests a smoking cigarillo held between cracked and parched lips. His one good eye surveys the destruction, taking particular note of the dead mercenaries on the ground. One of the smartly uniformed officers approaches him.

?No doubt about it Sherriff, these are the captains men.? He says.

?This is not good Deputy.? Sherriff Blaze Cassidy replied, ?Not good at all, he?s gonna be out for blood now, and I sure as hell don?t want a massacre on my hands.?

?We?re not sure who the folks fighting back were, but they?re a formidable lot, dangerous and lethal, able to hold their own for sure.? The deputy replies.

?They?re gonna be in for a hell of a time whoever they are, The Captain doesn?t subside easily, round up anyone still breathing and call up the Marshalls, we?re probably gonna need all the help we can get to keep this town from turning into a battlefield.? Cassidy states firmly, taking a long draw from his cigarillo.

Yeah, it's starting to look really intresting. I hope that I am ble to get worked into the story somehow. Cause it's developing rapidly and yet maintains a sort of cool elegance at the same time.

Alright, I'm hopefully gonna have the Introduction to Episode 2 ready before I head home for the day, but I likely won't be very responsive until Wednesday morning, as tomorrow is my B-Day and I am hopefully going to be spending most of it drunk.

And is there really any other way to spend it?

I too am excited to find out more, i prolly check about 5 times yesterday hoping for more to be posted lol. I am also intrigued by two main things... 1) who is this Blaze Cassidy feller and how much he'll play in the story as an ally or (strictly from a lawman side) an enemy and 2) how long this rattling sheetmetal over my head is gonna last before Nathan, Alotak and Carty find out where Teafo is hiding...

One of the reasons this is taking awhile is I'm trying to keep track of everyone and ensure that they all end up in the same place, to keep the story moving. So I need to make sure I know where everyone is, how to motivate them and how to basically tie everything together. I also haven't settled on a format for the intro yet so we'll see how things turn out

i wish i wasn't so darn imaginative, i keep thinking of ways for the darn story to advance also i want to add somthing to may char sheet another weakness, it is from my old post, my original char description, i will be putting the weakness in to balance my water breathing out i also put enhanced sence of smell to make me more of a mutant, i hope this is ok. it is on page three if you want to have a look.
Ive added an extreme fear of Military Jets, by extreme i mean vomiting, shock, refusal to move e.c.t.

[Arlonious]
I dismounted and quickly entered the foreboding doorway. The place seemed to have collected more sand from since I had left and the smell wasn't enticing. The ceiling strained under ages weight and the thick concrete walls forcible held out. I rushed over to Riareous; lying on a stone bad against on of the far walls, his things hung around him and a trail of blood lead from the front door. He was quiet yet clearly in pain; most of the blood had clotted all over his shirt and his face seemed pale and lifeless, basic healing and our natural ability to survive had carried him this far but he couldn't hold out much longer.

"Hang in there brother, I have brought help", I eagerly consoled.

The new scar forming was deep, it stretched across his stomach in a jagged zigzag fashion and cruelly smiled. Although the wound was superficially healing, his lack of improvement showed something more critical was injured.

"Hurry rick", I mouthed as I opened an animal canteen hanging to my left and giving it to Riareous to drink.

Rick bounced off the bike. The ride had been surprisingly comfortable. Grabbing his backpack, he strode in after Artonious.
Entering the room, he spotted the man on the table, and hurried onwards closer to him. "Is this your brother? What happened? He's a mess!" He exclaimed as he dropped his backpack on the floor and began a cursory exam.
