I'm going to stick with my area of expertise and go for 90's Britpop

From the same genre? Would ordinarily be easy, so I'll make it a difficult genre to find something wrong with.
Irish Folk

1. Love
Fiddler's Green, this particular version by the Dubliners [link]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9whbpYwk680[/link]

2. OK
Finnegan's Wake by the Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem [link]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfJuGiDsoVA[/link]

3. hate
Wild Colonial Boy, this version again by the Clancy Brothers and Robbie O'Connel [link]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVdwm1QbDUI[/link]

No offense (everyone's own opinions and preferences and such) but I think you're the first person I've met who can stand, let alone loves that living semen stain known as Nicki Minaj.
I take it you're not a pop fan.

Nicki's rapping is... depressing.

<youtube=T6j4f8cHBIM>

(I could have put this as my "hate" piece.)

Her pop efforts, however, are absolutely fantastic. "Starships" and "Pound the Alarm" are two of the best songs of this year.

Love The Clincher by Chevelle. But I love most Chevelle songs. Sober by Tool is okay. They have better songs. Song I don't like at all would be Destroy Everything by Hatebreed. First of all why would you make a song about destroying everything. And second, every song they have sounds the same.

Death metal.

Love: (early Entombed is just delicious)

OK: (Death as a whole was always the pinnacle of just "decent" for me when it comes to death metal especially the earlier thrash-centric stuff)

Hate: (I like a few technical bands, such as Suffocation, Nile and Kronos, but this technical-orgasm shit is just, nah man)

Hmmm... I want another go, with a different Genre - Punk with Female Singers! (I love all types of music!)

Beki Bondage is awesome! Really Awesome!

I love Poly Styrene, but this song isn't as good as other X-Ray Spex stuff...

Wendy O Sucks :/ and sounds like a bloke!

This song came to mind for the 'OK' section, but then I realised that sometimes I love the song, and sometimes I love to skip the song in playlists... seems to depend on my mood! Viv Albertine is just damn gorgeous, and Ari Up the singer is awesome... but this song can grind me at times! :/

Since this is the Escapist, why not do video game music?
One of my favorite Metroid tracks. This one ain't bad, but I love the final boss music from the first game so much more, so it gets a "meh" from me.It's hard to think of video game music I despise. I'd probably have to go with the Tetris theme, it always annoyed me for some reason and is the main reason I never played much Tetris.

Your soul is dead.

Anyway, there's way too much metal in this thread. Let's go with the wide-ranging supergenre of "Soft Rock".

Luuurve:
<youtube=Lb9X5jMofEo>
This brings me joy.

'tis Arright:
<youtube=oC7er_6dpsI>
This brings me little.

All my hate:
<youtube=6hzrDeceEKc>
This brings me supreme irritation.

This is suitable.

When it comes to Post-Rock, Talk-Talk is king.
Yeah you're wrong

And that second frame is correct

I gotta stop reading Escapist music threads. I always get the urge to smack people's teeth straight. For example...

Is this a really funny joke that I just don't get?
Learn2opinion.

Nicki's pop efforts are tightly produced, have ultra-catchy hooks and are fun to listen to. What more do you want?
