Jericho fired, catching William in the thigh. The 20mm round blew through bone and muscle, leaving his right leg hanging on by a thread.
"Stay on the feckin' ground or I blow yer dome off!"

He should have seen it coming.
He REALLY should have seen it coming.
"FUCKERS!" he screamed as he fell, unloading his pistol desperately at Warren.

William laughs as he watches the other fool fall.
"Should have seen it my way!"

Sorrow how do you expect this to be interesting if you go around blasting body parts off already?

She ducks behind the desk as the group gets separated, leaving each of them in a separate cell with a bulletproof glass door.

Yeah, this goes not just for you, Sorrow, but everyone else. I listed, right in the rules, no god-moding. I have a fairly liberal definition of what isn't god-moding, but nearly blasting off legs with a bullet that is slightly more than an inch long is not only god-moding, but shattering the laws of physics. You are ordinary soldiers, with ordinary guns, against ordinary people, not cyborgs destroying the universe. This is a final warning. The next time anything like that happens again, you will see what god-moding feels like from the other side of the screen. I guarantee it.

I have a big fucking gun. If I see what I think is my enemy, I tend to shoot him. Bob didn't say "don't shoot". He had Warren nod when I said Jericho was gonna blow your head off, but I decided that wounding was more fun.

Can I be blunt?
A .50 round can blow off an arm. It's happened. A 20mm is even bigger (that's not length). It can seriously fuck you up. This is a portable anti-material rifle, designed to engage armored targets at over a mile. Hell, the original round was designe for anti-aircraft work.
Bullet comparison (RT-20 on bottom, .50 on top):http://world.guns.ru/sniper/20hs404.jpg
It ain't god-moding. This is an application of a massive-ordinance REAL WORLD rifle.
It's reality.

Sorry, thought you were going to play fair. Using a gun that is anti-aircraft in this situation is...just not fair. You can instantly kill every person you face with ease with that thing. I also take issue with the fact that you decided how much damage you did. You may think you are in the right to do so, but I do not. And since I am the one running this thing, you need to deal with it. You want to pull crap like that, make your own RP. But I guarantee almost no-one would agree that what you are doing is fair.

It's a sniper rifle. It's big, unwieldy, and is bolt-action. In a firefight, it's useless. Against a single, immobile guy, it's deadly.
If it can tear through an armored vehicle, it can damn sure punch through somebody's leg.
You let me pick the goddamn gun. You're letting Aoi use two SMGs, even though reloading them in a firefight and actually aiming straight would be almost impossible. You never said not to shoot William, and you don't walk off 20mm of lead ripping through your leg.

I'm using a REAL GUN and giving a realistic interpretation of the damage it would cause. If that ain't fair, nothing is.

See, this is why RPs where there are players on both sides don't work.
"I shoot him."
"No, you don't. He dodges."

First off, you seemed to have no problem calmly blowing his leg almost clean off, so your first point seems like weak justification. I suppose I should have done more research on the gun, but if you check the profile, I edited so Aoi has one SMG, not two. Thirdly, there is quite a lot of gray area between "walking it off" and "blowing his thigh to smithereens. Also, you may be using a real gun with realistic damage, but you are wielding it unrealistically. The reason snipers are outside of the main battle is because it takes several minutes to line up a shot, yet you were apparently ready to shoot exactly where he was seconds after the door was kicked down. Finally, I am fair. Had you shot at him, I wouldn't have bent the laws of physics to screw you over. More likely, I would have taken the circumstances and the gun you used into mind, and have you probably miss your target because you are using a sniper rifle from 10 feet away, which is not how it's supposed to be used. This argument is now over. Bring it up again and you are out of the RP. I've let people get away with too much, and now I have to start taking control.

It's pretty damn easy to shoot a standing target at 10 feet. I hunt regularly and have used heavy rifles. Lining up a quick shot at a target is easy, even for someone with no training as a marksman. A close-range shot with a scoped rifle is child's play for an experienced sniper. I know far more about this kind of stuff than you.

Really good question. Since I'm kinda back from the rest of the group have I fallen through the trap door?

I quit. I play fair down to the letter with a real-world gun, wielding it in a fashion any respectable sharpshooter could, and you accuse me of god-moding because I won't dance to your tune. Get your facts straight and quit bitching about somebody actually RPing an experienced soldier
