- Five Minutes Ago -
Walking away with the crowds with a newly founded smile on his face, Wrack found a location out of the public eye and began to chant. The air around him began to raise in temperature, and below him spawned a red circle in the concrete. As he continued focusing, his body began to shift from the bright sunlight of the city to a darker room elsewhere nearby. He could have walked, but the news of the capture of the Red Ranger was enough to make him will a shortcut instead.
The room he spawned in was lit only with a single overhead florescent tube, but the sound of the lightning strike was echoing off the walls as he appeared. Inside the room were two other beings; the Red Mythic Ranger Philip Savage, bound, gagged, and covered with scratches and bruises, and Marik, the one Wrack had been speaking to before.

With the face of a large canine on his body, a mix of light blue scaled skin spotted with crystal growths, an anthro build, and a serpentine tail, Marik was an imposing sight for any normal humans. Philip, however, just scowled at the image of the demon holding his head in it's massive, clawed hands.
"You do realize you have nowhere to go. Best wipe that look off your face, or..." He displayed his claws close to Phil's face. "I will remove it from you."
"Marik, why would you wrap his mouth?" Wrack asked.
Turning to face his friend, Marik took a second to respond. "I don't care for his language. Nothing but bile and rage from one so young."
"Let him rage, Marik. It won't free him."
Looking to his captive, Marik slipped one claw under the cloth of the mouth gag and cut it, glaring into Phil's eyes and his horn an inch from his face. "Be thankful, Ranger. If it was still up to me, I would have bound much more of you. Your nose, maybe."
"That's enough." Wrack said as he walked next to his friend. Growling, Marik looked away from Phil. "We have the leader, so we have the greater victory here."
"If this were still the 17th century, and it's not."
Wrack sighed. He was right, but if he wanted to blow off some rage, it was best to get the attention of the other Rangers. "Then, do us all a favor. Go into Houston, and find a way to contact all the Rangers at once. Let them know I have a deal for them."
In one of his clawed hands, Marik had Phil's morpher. The red/black construction of the metal and rubber was high quality, but as he had held it, he could still not grasp how they were able to summon their spirits. "Why not use the morpher? They'll all hear it anyway."
"No." Wrack said, making both Marik and Phil raise eyebrows. "If others were helping them, I want their attention also."
Phil's eyes widened and his pulse rose hearing that. People had been helping his team fight the Wyrmlings off? He closed his eyes and took a deep breath to try and calm himself. He had to believe they would not get swept up in this mess because of their actions.
"Guys," The sound of David's voice coming over his morpher made Phil's blood run cold. Even more so when he heard what came next. "Phil lost his phone near Texas Children's Hospital. If you can, meet me there so we can discuss what to do next. I'm on my way there now."
"Oh, God, no." Phil said aloud.
"Hmm." Wrack hummed as he walked over to Phil. "It seems we now have a location on your friends, or a general one."
"
You...will not...stop us. Even with me down. Got it?" Phil snarled, his face breaking down into red with several raw emotions.
Wrack didn't reply. He had to seize this chance to remove the current team. Looking back to Marik, he mindspoke to him once again. "
Go to that location, and wait. When they arrive, tell me."
With a nod, Marik took a step back and waved one clawed hand in front of him. The same red circle that had aided his friend appeared for him also, and as the lightning struck, his body vanished.

- Present Time -
Leaving the stock room to return to cashiering, Alex noticed another customer walking through the doors. This one, however, was far removed from his usual kind of customer as he was dressed in clothes that were meant for farm work.
"
Hmm. Wonder what he's looking for?" Alex thought. Walking up to the guy, he noticed that he seemed to be a bit sullen about something, but chose not to pry. "Can I help you find something?"
