It's not just skin shades people seem to have problems with. I'm (apparently) often confused with a serial killer because I don't like to shave. I and most of those who fear me are white, so I don't think it's a "color" thing.
I'm sure everyone has been exposed to some prejudice of some sort, its impossible to avoid as every single person on the planet is filled to the brim with thousands of prejudices, prejudice is part of the human psyche.hyperhammy said:Have you ever been exposed to prejudice? Why?
For some reason, every time I'm in America people keep asking me if I'm a nazi. Just because I'm German.
But sometimes it's true.Yeq said:I guess assumptions that women naturally are better at certain things and so are men. I reckon we see that all the time but it's so insidious that people don't really see it as prejudice, just what's "natural".
I have something similar. I was at school and I told this one guy that I'm German. He replied like this: "You can't be German, you don't have blue eyes" to which I replied "My brother doesn't even have blond hair but red". Then he said "then you aren't German." What a fucking asshole.infinity_turtles said:Having blond hair and blue eyes obviously makes me a Nazi. Whenever I grow my hair out, I'm a gay Nazi. I get that pretty much every time I walk out of my apartment. Actually getting a bit sick and tired of it so I'm thinking of moving to an area where it might be less rare.(The area I live in is mostly Hispanic)
A lot of them are. Finding descent talkative people is a challenge in it self.Fallen-Angel Risen-Demon said:All I can say is Xbox live.
Some people are douches.
Typical Nazi response.JRCB said:I've been called a Nazi before, due to blond hair, blue eyes, and short hair. Last guy who said it received a roundhouse kick to the crotch.
