President of Ninty America says Skyward Sword best game ever created, Past/Present/Future included

I don't know if there's going to be a video game in history that's going to be able to compare to Skyward Sword. All those things I can commit to, but I can't commit that there's going to be another game that will score and be of the caliber of Skyward Sword. I don't think there's been one to date.

And yet we wonder why Nintendo is in the shitter. It's because we've got this guy kissing their ass from Kyoto to Redmond. When you think about it, adding Reggie to the equation makes all of their terrible business decisions over the past 6 years make perfect sense. Fingers crossed they fire his sorry ass when the WeeOooo crashes and burns and we get someone who's a little less willing to plunge their head into the darkest depths of Iwata's ass.

Has anyone here played the game yet? Because if not, we can't really judge him. The game might actually melt faces with sheer awesome and he had to sacrifice his family just to survive half an hour of gameplay.

Well you could always ask Susan Arendt here at the Escapist, since she's played it. She said in her review that she really liked the game despite being utterly sick of the Zelda series.

OT: While I have no doubt that Skyward Sword will be amazing and probably be in at least the top 5 games to come out this year if not be the best one this year. But calling it the best ever? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

It's a good game. What isn't good is the WiiMotion Plus STILL being inaccurate and laggy, and the GUI on that game being nothing short of a nightmarish abomination wrought from the mind of a perverse and malevolent sadist.
