They have been working like banshees for 3 days now.
I am trying to get as much input as I can as to where in the questline there are problems; is there a catalyst such as an enemy attack; what is the location when the crash happens; what level are you (an inordinate number of people with this problem are at level 20); have you (yes/no) completed Raven Rock; did you blow up Megaton, etc.
The more input on these and it may lead to a clue where the corruption is. I am trying to compile some stats and see if they help pinpoint the problem.
You have to clean your hard drive cache and delete the corrupt copy completely from your hard drive, do a soft cache clean, then re-download. Do NOT delete your last save before downloading just in case, even if you don't seem to be having any problems.
The PC players can download now, it is working fine and they are VERY excited over it, Love it!!!
Really appreciate any help, and everyone being patient with Bethesda Soft while they find the problem. They are killing themselves to fix it.
Meanwhile, Bethesda Soft has been giving away Operation Anchorage a couple times a day for both the PC and XBox, so if anyone hasn't got it yet, check out the Bethesda Soft Facebook or Twitter. When the codes are posted, the first one to get them downloaded gets them. After that the codes will read invalid, and you have to wait till they post another code. So hurry over and keep an eye on either the Facebook or Twitter (or both) if you haven't gotten Operation Anchorage yet! I got it, and it was AWESOME !!
