I really dislike the word 'procrastinate'. It looks like a stupid word to me and sounds rediculous! Its like the word needs a shortening because whenever I hear somebody use it it sounds like they are trying to be overly clever.
Depends on what I'm procrastinating about or how my mindset is at the time. I'm usually pretty good about busting my ass to get things done but every so often I get kind of lazy and don't keep up on things. The last time this happened is when my personal file server died. I still haven't fixed it. That was about four years ago. I'm getting closer though, I have a new machine put together.
I'm currently 5 pages into a 10 page paper due tomorrow that i knew about 5 weeks ago, and instead of writing it, I'm here posting on an escapist forum about procrastination.
I'm a terrible procrastinator. I can often get around it by doing tons of work in class and by dividing my work into small sections, between which I do other things.
Let me put it to you this way...I have a research paper due by 2 am. I have not done the research, nor have I written the paper. Currently, I'm on the Escapist forums while continuing to not write my paper. How's that?
I procrastinae things i enjoy is that normal? For example i was playing a game and really enjoyed it and was about to get to the end sp i saved and turned it off to go pay a different game because i didn't want that game to end.. that was like a year ago and i havent beaten that game yet.... I want to play dragon age origins right now but for some reason i'm not... Is that weird to procrastinate things i like?
its 1 in the morning monday (here in london) and i am about to start my history essay for A levels. it was my only piece of weekend homework that is due in monday. exactly how do you all think i am with procrastinating
I"m procrastinating right now. I should be writing an essay on a character from The Scarlet Letter.
Speaking of the Scarlet Letter, Hester Prynne is a great song by As Blood Runs Black. I might have to go listen to it now.
