Procrastination

So folks, here I am, sitting in my chair, attempting to do my assignment due tomorow. but just can't bring myself to do it. What do you reckon could help me get into the groove of working on my assignment?

And for discussion value: How often do you procrastinate? And what do you to stop it, if at all.

I procrastinate all the time and eventually it will hurt me, but it has not hurt me yet in school.

On a side note I was watching an old Tosh.0 one night and I saw they were talking about some word, possibly from urban dictionary called procrasterbating. I think the definition is pretty self explanatory. I thought it was hilarious.

OT: I've been doing my dissertation since july 09, i didn't start it til january 2010 and i finish it in 2 weeks, i spent most of my day on the escapist

Currently procrastinating with an exam tomorrow...well that's going to go well. It happens too often but I usually can overcome it if I really need to start working.

How often do I procrastinate? Too much (I think it's the human condition)

How do I stop it? Alarms. I follow the whole 50/10 thing when revising or writing (50 mins doing 10 mins not doing). Follow it religiously if it's boring but obviously you don't HAVE to stop at 50 mins if you get a 'flow' on.

Why would you want to make your assignement?
Hard work sometimes pays off later, lazyness always pays off now.
