4: Only form my parents, school sex ed is a joke

1. The US of A!

2. 14, Female

3. Yes, my health teacher really, really like talking about it. She made sound affects... T.T

4. Meh, I didn't really need to know all the technicals, like what happens inside the body, but then what would they teach us. By the time you've hit the eighth grade you know where the parts go anyways.

5. Not really... How would you, besides having sex...

3.Hell no. Only thing we were learnt were how to use a condom and ''You'll die if you don't use one''

4.No, I had to find most stuff out for myself.

5. Not yet. I could've done without anyway. Condoms aren't that complicated.

25 and male

Yeah

Not really, the kids see it as a joke, the teachers are usually woefully underqualified and scared, and often there is an underlying political agenda

not really, as I said, Sex Ed is mostly a joke. I mean, I've used condoms, and been tested for STIs, and all of the common stuff, but that's just common stuff.. There wasn't anything I was taught in Sex Ed that I didn't either know, or couldn't figure out on my own.

1.What country are you from Australlia

2. Age and sex 17 year old male

3.Do you think you were given the proper amount of information for sex education.

Probably I did not pay attention too much. I was more like, I got it put on a condom before going in.

4.Do you think the education you received was useful.

Yeah, but I learnt most of it before the sexual education classes. I was a human bio student.

5.Have you ever used the information in real life.

Well my Human bio teach gave me tips on how to put on a condom. Its not how it sounds, but I wish it was how it sounds.

3. No. I went to a religious school. They showed internal diagrams that didn't look anything like how men and women are. They didn't talk about birth control other than "condoms fail", "you'll probably get sick", and just to not have sex at all to be safe. They had speakers come in to tell us about others' guilt ridden accounts of how pre-marital sex made them feel horrible and "dirty", which was why people take showers afterwards. Seriously!

4. Nope. Even after sex education, I had no clue how the process worked until I saw porn, was dumbfounded as to how women's funbits actually worked when I first saw them, had no idea you can spread disease other ways besides intercourse, and didn't know birth control measures were actually effective.

5. What information? XD

3. Between my parents and school sexual education I received proper information. Though the best was my Psychology of Human Sexuality class in college. Fantastic course with a very good emphasis on personal responsibility in regards to sexuality.

4. Definitely useful, like I said the basics were well covered between my parents and high school sex ed in both Biology and Health class. The most useful info came from the college course though.

5. Not entirely sure I understand the question but I'll say yes. I've used information learned from my parents, high school sex ed, and then that college course to help me make informed decisions in regards to sexuality.
