Propose a way to cut down the unintelligent population of the planet

As we have all known for quite some time, the world is overrun by idiots, religious zealots, and lunatic politicians, most belonging to more than one group at a time.

So, how do we cut down the population of the less-than-adequately intelligent people?

These could be anything from better education to the classic "Kill with fire" method.

For a little added fun, how would you determine who is or is not intelligent in the world today?

Remember, intelligence is not something that is easily determined, and killing a large population has major ramifications that you may not consider immediately.

License to breed.

License to vote.

License to purchase alcohol and cigarettes.

Limiting people's votes and opinions in terms of IQ.

Massive penalties inflicted by negligence.

License to file a lawsuit.

No Welfare

Mandatory IQ tests required to get into ALL jobs.

Failing too many of those jobs means you are put into the non-working population and therefore reserved under "disabled."

License to buy alcohol and cigarettes and massive penalties inflicted by negligence are the only two that would keep a functional society. The rest would doom us all to being petty little people controlled by people who happen to have wealth.

Why bother? we need people to flip burgers and clean toilets. If everyone was intelligent, there would be a severe shortage of people prepared to do those jobs.

Not exactly. A genius in high school still needs work experience, and to be humbled and to have personal skills dealing with people he wouldn't want to on his/her own.

You just cant educate people like that. They dont even want to learn, they dont even deserve to be part of the plane of society we (Intelligent People) live in.

I'm still not sure what I want to do but I am not that ignorant.

I didnt say anything about not educating people who want to learn it is just the ignorant people like that need to thrown into a hole somewhere, they are not helping society. They are just bleeding the money, time and effort from it.

Work experience will not cover the huge proportion of the population that would be required to work full time, performing menial tasks. I hate terms like "over-qualified" (what the hell does it even mean?), but many, many genius students who go onto higher education are not going to be tempted to the prospect of becoming unskilled labourers or janitors. I'm sure there are a few academics who get a genuine pleasure out of such careers, but many will just want to go on to do something more "worthy of their talents". It is the way the World works. It actually has to work like that.

But yeah, sure, I agree, there would still be a shortage, but there's nothing to say those people fipping burgers aren't just people without degrees(therefore cannot possibly be qualified for anything else really) trying to get the cash to get the degree and get the job that reflects their talents.

What about the type of people who think "Why would they put a giant button in the middle of a large crowd if it did something important." this could force intelligent but curious people to press said button.

Personally i would press it several times. Even after i go to the camps, but the second time i will be ready.

This I can actually get behind. But only stupid warning labels. If I'm about to bite into something "crunchy", I'd kind of like to know if the crunch comes from, say, peanuts (which don't harm me at all) or tree nuts (some of which would literally be lethal to me.)

But if "Walnut Fudge Brownie" is on the front of the box, I don't need a label to tell me "contains tree nuts", and I know damn well that walnuts are Numero Uno on the list of aforementioned bits of "breathing is overrated" kryptonite.
