The Unintelligent?

Nice measure. Compared to Derrida, I'd imagine virtually everyone in this topic, including myself, is a dunce.

How far do you take your stupid arbitrary categories? How on God's green Earth do you properly measure intelligence? Why, also, is it the sole qualifier intelligence? Our mighty brains have given us the Nuke and enough tech to leave this planet a barren husk. What about prudence, wisdom, humanity, cunning, the whole spectrum?

As we have all known for quite some time, the world is overrun by idiots, religious zealots, and lunatic politicians, most belonging to more than one group at a time.

So, how do we cut down the population of the less-than-adequately intelligent people?

These could be anything from better education to the classic "Kill with fire" method.

For a little added fun, how would you determine who is or is not intelligent in the world today?

Remember, intelligence is not something that is easily determined, and killing a large population has major ramifications that you may not consider immediately.

Wars don't work. Genocide doesn't work. Natural disaster doesn't work. There is only one way to control population and that is to control birthrate.

So in other words, to cut down the dummies you wouldn't actually have to kill anyone, and in fact killing people wouldn't work anyway. Just put in government policies that reward sensible family planning, and wait for the existing generations to die off. But you'd also cut down the number of smart people too.

It's not a good idea anyway though. Smart people need dumb people to survive. For every CEO, there needs to be a few hundred people willing to sit on a chair all day and put spindles in boxes. That's just how society works, and how it always has, and probably always will.

People consider having children a privilege, not a right. You also take intelligence more seriously and are less likely to be condescending to nerds because they suddenly go up on the primal food-chain because they are almost definitely going to reproduce. This does make an impression on people's minds. Anti-intellectuals are greatly humbled by the fact that they may be sacked for failing one IQ test, and put intelligence much higher than they would otherwise. People are less likely to do stupid things if they relate such things with sterilisation.

Have a IQ test to have sex where it must be higher then the standard. Then you must have a job and be at least 21. and if you have sex without meeting all 3 requirements you go to jail. This would cut down on it. Bring back darwinism!
