Prototypes: Super Hero RP (Finished)

[SamuelT]

Samuel felt Patrock skim his mind with his anomaly. That made him uncomfortable, but he allowed it. For some reason that was wat he needed to satisfy his curiousity. He could feel the warmth Sarah created from this far. He hoped that she wouldn't randomly started generating fire. That would be a pain.

He brushed his hair out of his eyes. Sarah seemed to be sleeping, as did Aesis. He coudln't see where Patrick was. Robin had nodded off. Samuel got up and tried to wake him.

"Robin? C'mon, wake up..."

 

[Sparrow]

"Uuuhhnnn?", mumbled Sparrow.

He rolled off the side of Sarah's bed, where he'd accidentally fallen asleep. He blinked several times, then rubbed his eyes.

"Morning Samuel.", he yawned, "Whats on your mind?"

Sarah slowly opened her eyes. She yawned and stretched. She slowly sat up and saw that Sparrow and Samuel were already awake. She hadn't remembered much about last night, only that Sparrow carried her to Patrick's place.

"Good morning everyone" she said as she yawned.

 

[SamuelT]

"Hello Sarah." He said. "Perhaps this is better. Now both of you will know. I'll tell you what I came here for. Do you remember the other subjects, the 5% and 20%?"

Sarah nodded her head as she laid back down on the bed. She rubbed her eyes as Samuel spoke of the two other subjects.

"Yes I remember them. Why?"

 

[Sparrow]

Sparrow leant foward to get up, and barrelled over, landing on his head.

"Yes, I do too.", he muffled.

He sat up upright, and crossed his legs.

"Why ask, Samuel? Or do you prefer Sam? Or Sammy?"

As he waited for Samuel's reply, Sparrow tried to think of more nicknames...

 

[SamuelT]

"Well, there was an entire batch of them. Nearly a hundred 5% and I counted 300 20%. And they've chosen sides, split up in nice even sized groups, and appear to worship us as gods. They're in a war, but off any record." He paused.

"They have sent groups after me to convince me to join them, or else destroy me. They tried, but they didn't make it. They'll probably go after all of you too, as you're the 100%, the pure gods."

Sarah bolted back up. A confused look crossed her face. She got off the bed and sat next to Sparrow. She folded her arms and crossed her legs.

"So.. There are people.. who think that we're gods because of the fact that were 100%? Are they that diluted that they don't realize that what we have isn't something that we want to be flaunting around? I don't know about you guys but I would just like to be a normal person and have a normal life. The last thing I want is to be... I don't want to be someones test subject again."

 

[Sparrow]

Sparrow scratched his head.

"Meh. I'd like to see them try take me down. Then again, being a god doesn't sound all that bad."

Sparrow got up, and slowly walked over Patrick's fridge, weeding through the contents.

"Orange juice, milk, lemonade, apple juice, beer... oh come on! No Dr Pepper?"

After finding some Pepsi, which he settled for, Sparrow re-assumed his position sitting next to Sarah and offered her a drink.

"Either way, they ain't gonna' be much of a problem. Right?"

 

[SamuelT]

"Yeah...that's the problem. They're not like us, but have some effects from the testing. I don't know exactly what, but one thew small flames at me. It wasn't a burning liquid. It was generated by the person. And when 300 get to you, they can be much of a problem. And,"

He nodded to Sarah,

"They'll make a normal life difficult. Robin, throw a bottle of water, would you?"

"They'll make a normal life difficult" As the words left Samuels mouth Sarah buried her face in her hands. 'Normal' was no longer an option. These people, whoever they were, would not let her lead a peaceful existence. She could begin to feel her core temperature rising. She needed to calm down or else she would burn down the apartment.

Calm down, calm down, calm down, just calm down. Everything will be fine, but just calm down.

Sarah calmed herself down long enough to grab the pepsi Sparrow had handed her. "Thank you Sparrow." She turned back to Samuel. "So then, what do we do now?"

 

[Sparrow]

Sparrow got up again, and lazily ambled toward the fridge, searching through the contents once more.

"I'd like to see five hundred little hotheads take on a T-Rex", he murmured.

Sparrow pulled out a bottle of water, and handed it to Samuel.

"Eh. Life just can't be normal for us I suppose."

After wearily walking toward Sarah, Sparrow took on the form of a Husky puppy, and curled up on her lap.

 

[SamuelT]

"I don't know what you'll do. I could take on everyone they'd sent, even destroy them all in one swoop, but if it is okay with you I think I'll tag along with you guys. Safety in numbers, as they say, and I don't mind a bit of company. Last months were...lonely."

He opened the bottle and drank from it. It wasn't cold. Bugger He thought. He closed it again and set the bottle on the ground.

 

[Sparrow]

"Sure, theres safety in numbers. Also makes us a bigger target though. Not that thats a bad thing. After all, we want to get rid of this people don't we? Well now they'll know where to find us. All of us."

Sparrow's canine nose twitched.

"Well. Most of us."

Sarah petted the transformed Sparrow on the head. She drank from her pepsi and then sat it down on the floor next to her.

"It'll be easier if we all stick together. It'll be like the old days.."

Sarah looked around the room. It wasn't the nicest place but at least they were warm, or at least she was.

"So where are we gonna go from here? We can't just stay in Brooklyn forever."

Patrick had been awake for a few minutes already, but hadn't been willing to move from the clean patch of floor he had slept on. He'd heard what Samuel was discussing though, and stiffened up.

G-gods? What a laugh. W-W-We're monsters, we're dangerous, for chrissakes! And they want to w-worship us?!?

As he thought that, he shuddered, remembering the night of the escape, and all the blood that had been shed. He tried to shrug off the bad thoughts, and got up, walking into the room where the others had gathered.

"No n-need to fill me in guys. I h-heard from in there. I agree with Sarah: we n-need to leave soon. E-Emily's on the way here, by the way."

 

[SamuelT]

Emily?

"Well, I've got a few people here in America that can provide stuff for a long journey. Or a short one. But we can stay, at least for a while, in Brooklyn. If no one contacted you the last few months, they've got no idea where you are."

 

[Sparrow]

Sparrow switched into a ferret, and perched himself on Sarah's shoulder.

"Not easy to just move away when your poor like us, Samuel. I suppose we could always rob a few banks, discreetly and all. I could switch into a speck of dust, and get past the vault door. Then I could change into a box a fit all the items inside of me, then travel back out and..."

Samuel stared Sparrow, awkwardly.

"What? I get bored sometimes."

"So then we should wait. Besides, not everyone is awake yet. And I still want to get some more information about those people who think of us as 'gods'." Sarah took another sip of her soda.

"Its hard to imagine that someone else thinks of you as powerful. I could never think of myself as being strong or all-mighty. I just imagine myself as a pyro who can't control herself when she gets angry."

Sarah felt Sparrow turn into a puppy and then into a ferret. She felt him jump on her shoulder.

"We're not robbing a bank. We need money but, I don't wanna rob a bank."

 

[Shapsters]

Emily arrived in Brooklyn, she gathered her bag, and found her chauffeur.

"Hello miss Coates, please follow me."

Emily followed into a limo, the driver drove through Brooklyn toward the hotel, Emily found her room in the hotel and headed back downstairs.

"I am just going for a walk thank you, I will be back here in about an hour. Just want to experience the city in my own way."

Emily walked out of the hotel and began heading out into the heart of Brooklyn.
