Patrick reached out, using the Gift to see where Emily was: and sensed that she was near their current location aboveground.

"Uh, g-guys? Emily is c-coming. She's in Brooklyn... if we head outta here w-we could all meet up. W-want me to take us to her?

 

[Sparrow]

Sparrow, feeling quite childish, mirrored Patrick's body and face.

"Emily this. Emily that. Who's Emily?"

Changing from Patrick, to a nameless female, Sparrow stood upright.

"She some blond godess or something?"

Taking on his normal human form, Sparrow sat down.

"Still think we should rob a bank and all."

Sarah got up and stretched. She was beginning to feel confined in the small place that they were in. "I don't know about you guys but I need to get some fresh air. All this sewer air can't be that good for us."

She walked over and looked at Sparrow. "We are not robbing a bank. Now come with me to go get some fresh air. I don't wanna go alone."

 

[SamuelT]

"Well...we coouuld rob a bank, or something like that. No one would ever have to know.." Samuel said, grinning.

He could feel a few people walk through the sewers. His grin dissapeared. He felt the strings a bit tangled, one had a knot in it. Not good. A 20%.

"Well, I have to take care of something first. There are 20%'ers in the tunnel. I can handle them, no worries."

He grabbed his coat with his gear and stepped outside of the bunker.

"I'm suprised y-you don't remember her Sparrow, b-but you'll recall her soon enough..."

Patrick quickly led the group to the nearest manhole and opened it.

"U-up here guys... she's r-right around the corner."

Whoops, didn't see Sam post there. Well, let's just say he's having fun, yeah?

 

[Shapsters]

Emily walked through Brooklyn, the sounds and sights were amazing, butt he smell was a bit overwhelming.

"Ugh, this place smells awful, certainly not like the oceans back home."

She walked for a few minutes before sitting on a bench, she let her ears fully open and just listened to everything around her. She heard conversation coming from underground and she focused her power down there.

"Emily is near..."

"Who's Emily?..."

"Look Sparrow, we are not robbing a bank..."

Oh my god they're here! I have to get out of here!

She stood up from the bench and quickly began walking away.

Sarah shrugged her shoulders and started walking towards the door.

"You guys can go rob a bank. I'll be outside getting some fresh air... even though this town still smells like crap."

Sarah followed Patrick to the manhole. He let her go through first. She opened it and then to her surprise she saw Emily. Emily jumped when she saw Sarah.

"Emily?! Is that you?" Sarah smiled and called down to the others. "Hey! Hey everyone! Emily is here!"

Emily kept walking,

"Um, no, my name is not Emily, you must be mistaking me for someone else."

Shit! Patrick is going to see right through that, maybe I should run, but then the police might catch attention. No, I will just keep walking, but stop thinking!

I'm gonna be gone for a few hours: someone take the helm. Just remember that my guy ain't that strong... he's the weakest of the bunch when he isn't being threatened, so don't send me against a big baddie all on my lonesome

"Emily! I k-know thats you! W-why are you here?"

Emily

Sorry, my name is not Emily!

 

[Sparrow]

Sparrow begrudgingly followed Sarah and the others outisde, as he mumbled under his breath "I could so totally rob a bank."

The scene that presented itself was a strange one. Sarah, talking to some strange girl. He shifted a small blade, underneath his sleeve and walked toward Sarah.

"Everything okay? Catching up with old friends or something."

Sparrow tapped the blade against Sarah's back, to signify it.

 

[Shapsters]

Emily heard the sound of Sparrow shapshifting his arm into a sword, she hated the sound of him using his power. She began walking faster, worried they would take her for an enemy and attack her.

"Its Emily. Don't you remember her?" Sara looked at Sparrow and pointed at Emily. "Emily, subject number six. I remember I almost killed her when I activated the white flame for the first time." Sarah turned to Emily. "Sorry about that by the way."

Sarah jogged a bit until she was walking side by side next to Emily. "Of course its you Emily. You have super hearing and what not."

 

[Sparrow]

"Emily? This is Emily?"

Sparrow sighed.

"Why can't I remember who she is?" he mumbled, "Number six? I can't remember the number six."

Sarah ran ahead of Sparrow.

"Oi! Wait up!"

 

[Shapsters]

"Ugh! Yes, its me! Argh! My life was just getting on track." Emily sniffed he air, "My god, you guys smell awful! Why were you in the sewers?!"

"I knew it was you!" Sarah hugged Emily and let go. "Oh yeah, sorry for smelling and all. Pat let us stay in his hobble. And well, its in the sewers. Anywho, enough about us. What have you been up to?"

 

[Sparrow]

"Seriously, who? I don't recognize this woman..."

Sparrow thought over the few women he'd known in his life, and the reasons he'd known them, and how long he'd known them... it took him only a mere twenty seconds.

"Nope. Don't know her."

 

[Shapsters]

Emily jumped back from Sarah, she was much hotter than other people and her touch was very sensitive to heat.

"Um, I own a restaurant, a small house, I am here in Brooklyn to accept an award for my cooking." she ran her hand through hair, "Look, I don't mean to be rude, but the moment I get involved with you guys, my life goes to the shitter."

[Not to high-jack the spotlight or anything, but here goes...]

A blast of steam vaulted Samuel through the grate that exited on the streets again. He could see the group a small end away. Before he had time to think, he hit the concrete. Hard. He could sense the 20%'ers climb up the ladder.

"Hey gang" Samuel said to the people a few feet away, looking shocked. "Little help?"

Sarah turned to Sparrow. "Well try to remember her. She was the only other girl in the labs with us."

Sarah stretched and looked back at Emily. "Wow, you sure have done well. I don't think any of us has a house. I don't even have a place to live." Sarah chuckled and walked over to a bus bench and sat down.

"Emily, whenever any of us get involved with one another it always means something bad is going to happy. Samuel just got done explaining to us that there are 5% and 20% that think we're gods and they want us to join them."
