Patrick's former plans were all being thrown about randomly. Emily had gone to sleep before Samuel could even show them the contents of the laptop, Ace was meditating on something and had slammed the door shut with his power (startling Patrick until he realized that Samuel wasn't doing anything), and Sparrow was just wandering around. The only one who seemed interested in the files was Sarah.
Well, hopefully this has put Sam's fears about Emily at ease... but we're locked in here, thanks to Ace. I know Ace isn't a part of the conspiracy between Sparrow and Sam, but can Ace be trusted when the other two have already turned?!
Ace could be working for someone else, and just using Samuel and Sparrow to get rid of the rest of us!
Patrick had rummaged around looking for some food, trying to look occupied, but he had to come up with a plan, quick. Emily might be asleep and safe from Samuel's suspicion, but Sam could still have data on Patrick.
Goddamnit!!! If he reveals what happened back then, the others won't trust me, and then Samuel can just turn them against me, and free himself of any suspicion!
...If he starts to head in that direction, I'll do it. I'll tell the others.
Patrick sat next to Sarah, and looked at the computer. It displayed lists of people that he didn't know. When he looked at the top of the screen, he realized what it was: a list of prior acquaintances, and what had happened to them.
Patrick quickly scrolled through the list, and breathed a sigh of relief. No mention of what had happened in his past, thank god. In fact, there wasn't even a file for him.
When he looked up though, his good mood quickly died. Sam and Sparrow were talking in hushed tones. Berating himself for not paying attention, Patrick quickly focused the Gift to listen in on Sparrow's side of the converstaion.
Assume Patrick hears everything Sparrow says from post 418 onwards. EDIT: Damn, this is fun. I'm assuming that there was no file for Patrick, because my notes say that no info is known about him prior to the incident that landed him in the ward he got swiped from.
