Prototypes: Super Hero RP (Finished)

[Sparrow]

Sparrow had no time to think, no time to react. He'd have to rely on his instincts. It was highly possible #8 could be controlling Samuel, but he coudln't take them both on.

"No Sam, I'm the one who's sorry."

He assumed his fighting stance, and waited.

Theres only one way to tell if he's being controlled or not, and thats the way he fights. Your move, Samuel.

 

[SamuelT]

Samuel looked at the stance of Sparrow. He waited, and looked expectantly. Samuel was surprised by this. Usually Sparrow'd have flown into battle first thing. Alright, you want me to play first? Samuel thought.

He focused on the roof of the building beneath Sparrow. He pulled it skywards, making Sparrow barrel through the air. Mnipulation of the enviorment is all he could do. That and alter he body, but he didn't like that. He'd do that when there was no other way.

 

[Sparrow]

Sparrow landed with an acrobatic pose.

"Nice try, but no dice."

He spawned two blades, that formed from his arms, and extended them to a good four foot each. Propelling himself, Sparrow span into Samuel as the blades flew randomly.

This should be pretty easy to block, if your thinking straight that is.

 

[SamuelT]

Samuel dodged to the right, letting Sparrow fly further then he planned to. Oh, come now. I know you can do better than that Samuel thought. He lifted the metal bars that were placed on the roof of another building. He lobbed them at Sparrow. He refrained from killing him outright. That would just not do.

#8 stood on the roof, looking pleased with himself. The expression on his face sickened Samuel. That I really have to do this...

 

[Sparrow]

Sparrow easily dodged the bars, as they weren't going too fast. Samuel was definately trying to kill him though, or atleast severly damage him.

Fine. If thats the way you want to play.

He quickly took on the form of a Husky, and rushed headstrong at Samuel. It caught him by suprise, and he wasn't able to see Sparrow's attack comming, as he bit straight through his calf muscle.

 

[SamuelT]

Goddamnit..I should have seen that one coming. Samuel thought. The bars and stones didn't seem to affect Sparrow. He was too fast to be hit by objects. Fine, if that was the way it needed to be, he'd play along. He grabbed the strings of the metal bars and joined them with the strings to his arms. They hardened and were turned into shiny metal.

See how you face this...

He brought his arms down on the Husky hanging from his leg. The dog flew towards the ground. Further downward he could see the other Prototypes looking with fear.

Patrick hadn't recieved a response from Sparrow, and that made him worried. What could keep Sparrow from responding like that? Was he really that distracted?

Patrrick rapidly scanned his mind, looking for an explanation:

"-ould be pretty easy to block, if you're thinking straight that is."

What?! Who was he fighting? Patrick probed a little deeper...

Samuel?! He's fighting Samuel! Does this mean I was right, that Samuel betrayed Sparrow?

While Patrick was thinking that, he noticed that the enemy had knocked out Squelch, and was proceeding to get back to fighting the cops.

No matter. Whatever's going on, I'll figure it out later. Those police don't stand a chance I I don't help them! Besides, if there's only one of these traitors left to take down afterward, the better our chances.

HA! My character was right to be paranoid it seems... MWAHAHAHAHA!

 

[Sparrow]

Sparrow couldn't react in time, and Samuel dropped him to the floor. He shifted back into his human form. It was only then the pain struck. His shoulder had been dislocated, as it hung in place. He tried to step foward, but his ankle had been broken. He'd used his power too much. Sparrow was a sitting duck.

"Go on then. Finish it."

 

[SamuelT]

Samuel lowered himself to the ground. Sparrow's foot and arm stood in strange positions. He shook his head. He focused on the strings of Sparrow, but still couldn't get a grip on them. He tried harder, and harder. Finally he could manipulate them. He put the shoulder back in place and attached the bone from the ankle with the leg. The process left both Sparrow and him gasping for air.

"Sparrow, you should've listened to me." Samuel said softly. "This could've been avoided." He grabbed Sparrow by his shirt and lifted him.

"Wait for my call. Hold on to my cell and wait for it." He said. He walked towards the edge of the building and looked Sparrow once in the eyes.

"We will meet again. Don't be afraid, I bear you no ill." And he dropped Sparrow. He made sure that he wouldn't be hurt on impact. He turned to doc.

"There. That's settled. Now, lead on."

 

[Sparrow]

Sparrow struck the ground, but he felt no pain. His head pounded, and he couldn't think straight, but he heard what Samuel had said.

The rest of the subjects gathered round him, and they most likely presumed him dead. Sparrow did not say a word, or make any sound. He just layed there, silently, going over the events in his head.

 

[Doc Theta Sigma]

Doc watched the two friends and waited. As Samuel told him to lead on, he smiled.

"Of course. It's best if we leave quickly"

Doc reached out with his mind to a pilot of a police helicopter that was on it's way to the scene and forced him to hover next to the roof. Doc climbed in and gestured for Samuel to do the same.

[I apologise for the chopper appearing out of nowhere, but we need to leave quickly after all ]

 

[SamuelT]

Samuel got into the chopper. He looked down. Sparrow was laying in a crater on the grownd. Even from this distance he could see the accusing looks of the others. He could see a light blooming near them. A jet of blue flame sheared past the chopper.

"Yeah, that's probably Sarah. If you want to live get away now. They won't take kindly to my betrayal."

 

[Doc Theta Sigma]

"Get us out of here"

The chopper pilot obeyed and turned the chopper around, flying away from the scene. Doc instructed the pilot to drop them off at the airport. Turning to Samuel, Doc took off his glasses and rubbed the lenses with his sleeve.

"First of all we need to gather as much intelligence about the project as we can. Anything you know may be of great use"

Sarah shot a blue flame past the helicopter as it began to fly away.


"Come back here! Pay for what you've done!!"

Sarah continued to shoot flames at the helicopter. She could feel the white flame beginning to activate.

Dammit it Samuel.

Patrick saw the rest of the percentages run away, grabbing the ones that had been knocked out. Now that their leader was gone, they had no reason to remain...

He saw Sarah's fire going white. Quickly, he sent to her:

SARAH! Calm down, he's escaped! And we all need to get out of here before more humans get involved!

 

[Doc Theta Sigma]

[I'm gonna be gone for awhile, feel free to control my character Samuel but don't go too nuts ]

 

[SamuelT]

Samuel looked at Doc. He seemed very pleased with himself.

"Look. I'm interested in your cause but I'm not willing to give up everything I know. For all I know you're just a leech, a nobody. I'm reserving any knowlage 'till we get to the facility."

Good thing the USB is still on the ground. It would be uneasy if he'd get everything on the project.

Sarah got Patrick's message. Her flame completely receded. But she was still angry. She clenched her fist until they were white. She turned to the others.

"So where do we go now then? Anywhere we go Samuel will know where we are."

"Well S-Sarah, where we g-go is hardly the issue. F-First, we have another t-traitor to deal with."

Patrick looked at Sparrow, and grinned. Sparrow might think that he was going to get away with selling them out, but he was wrong.

"Y-You know what I'm t-talking about, right S-Sparrow?" he said triumphantly.

EDIT: I'm thinking that everyone's gonna assume my guy is crazy, giving me a reason to leave the group and warn Iceous about what's been going down. So he can finally talk to someone. Poor guy's really ronery right now I bet...
