"Sparrow!"

He's my ONLY chance out of here!

Iceous felt something twitch inside of him. Something that he'd felt before, but not in a long time. He felt like destroying everything that opposed him. He could use this to his advantage.

He was in a rage.

He rushed into his power and pushed all of the warmth out of the lessers' bodies that he could. It was too much strain however. He passed out before he could do any noticeable effect other than shivering.

Some of you may not know this, but Samuel, Portal, Shapster, Sparrow and I also take part in another RP called the Zombie Apocalypse Squad. It's been a really good laugh and we've all enjoyed it but recently it's been running a little dry and we're thinking that some new blood might revitalise things a bit - otherwise we may decide to finish it.

[EDIT]: On a game related note, would this be a good time for the angel to show up and crack the tubes or will that screw the stories up?

Samuel! He heard Sparrow yell. He was shooting every percentage he could get his sights on but they were just with too many. He decided that he'd better try to manipulate. He concentrated and ture at the strings around Sparrow. Lots of percentages fell, and Samuel's vision flickered.

He tried to tear away the glass of Iceous's tube, but he couldn't make it anymore. He released the strings with a gasp. A gunshot rang through the commotion, but it wasn't Samuel's. He felt a force push him forward by the shoulder, and horrible pain accompanying it.

Samuel looked and saw blood pouring down his arm.

Sarah thrashed around in her pod. The small confined space was beginning to irritate her, as were her powers.

"Let me out of here!!"

 

[Doc Theta Sigma]

The revolver still smoking, Doc stepped into the room where Sparrow and Samuel had been restrained by the crowd of percentages. Hearing banging, Doc looked and saw Sarah thrashing around in her pod.

"Let-out-here!" Came her muffled cry.

"Oh you don't want to do that my dear. Believe me... It won't end well" Doc replied.

Walking over to Sparrow and Samuel, Doc smiled. He finally had them right where he wanted them. Ignoring Sparrow, he loomed over Samuel and pressed the barrel of the revolver to his forehead.

"You couldn't have just gone ahead with the plan? Would it really have been that terrible?" Doc demanded. "You could have had more power than you could have dreamed of"

Samuel glared and spat in his face. Without hesitation Doc squeezed off another round into Samuel's kneecap, the gunshot shattering the silent air and causing Samuel to let out a scream of pain.

"Do it again and I'll take one of your fingers" Doc threatened.

He stepped back and put the revolver back in his jacket. Grinning maniacally he strolled around the pods, beholding each of the Prototypes. His plan had failed... They would never come over to his side now. Now his insurance policy would have to work. Turning back to Sparrow and Samuel he regarded them.

"You came here to save your friends... An admirable act. But should they leave those pods, I promise you they will not leave this complex alive" Doc said coldly.

 

[Sparrow]

Samuel hit the floor in pain, not that he allowed Doc the pleasure of seeing his expression change, as the bullet entered and exited his kneecap. Sparrow welled up with anger, and broke the lesser's grip on his arms.

"You absolute dick!"

Sparrow swung directly at Doc, and caught his cheek with a right hook. He hit the floor with a bone crunching sound, and his revolver span out of his hand.

Samuel, in his state of pain, looked at each of the seperate lessers, who stood in place. They all had blank and solemn expressions. Suddenly, blood poured out of their ears, and all slumped to the floor.

"What happened? Are they dead?"

 

[Doc Theta Sigma]

Doc winced in pain as he started to pull himself up off the floor. Blood was dripping from his mouth and he wiped it on the back of his sleeve. He watched as Sparrow crossed to the pod controls, looking how to release them.

"How do I release them?!" Sparrow shouted at Doc.

"I've told you already. If you release them, they'll die." Doc spat.

 

[SamuelT]

"I don't know. It wasn't me." Samuel said. He got up with the help of Sparrow, who went to the terminal, trying to open the tubes. Doc was shaking his head. He looked at the pair and aimed his revolver again.

He shot, but Samuel let the bullet crumble to dust before it hit them. He could feel the pressure of Doc's mind-control, but he pushed it away. It left him with a more intense headache then before, but he recieved strength from Doc's panicking expression.

"You dare talk about power against me?" Samuel said with a deathly whisper which was clearly heard through the now-silent room. Just for the effect, he broke the barrel of the revolver Doc was pointing at them. He left the second one he knew Doc had holstered beneath his clothes.

"I will take my friends, I will leave this complex safely. You will do nothing to stop me. Do you understand?"

 

[Doc Theta Sigma]

"The damage has already been done Samuel... As an insurance policy against this exact scenario, I had your friends injected with a bio-toxin that will activate the minute they leave those pods. Without the antidote, they WILL die" Doc laughed. "And only I know where it is"

Doc laughed insanely, blood bubbling from his mouth.

 

[Sparrow]

Sparrow shook his shoes, which were now caked in blood. He browsed through the controls.

"Fuck... I can't figure out the code."

Samuel grabbed his kneecap, and although in obvious pain, showed a brave expression. Life status beamed at Sparrow on the console's screen. Sparrow gave Samuel a strange look, to which he did not respond. Samuel peered over his shoulder, and into the screen. His expression matched Sparrow's.

Sparrow limped toward Doc, as his old injury set in.

"Give me the antidote, and you live. Don't give me the antidote, and I torture you until you do."

 

[SamuelT]

"And when he's done, I will continue. And what Sparrow does will be sweet mercy compared to what I can do to you." Samuel said. He had crashed into the stool behind the desks. His leg wouldn't take his weight anymore.

 

[Dorian]

Iceous regained consciousness as Samuel was shot. His head hurt like no other and his power felt unusually weak. This had never happened before.

Have I reached the limit of my power? How can cold be limited?

Sparrow was fiddling with the controls. He was dimly aware of what happened while he was out, thanks to his subjective dreaming.

"Sparrow..... don't let me out. I want the path with the highest chance of survival. Unless there's no chance I die, leave me be."

It didn't seem as if he had been heard.

 

[Doc Theta Sigma]

"Hmm... No I don't think so. How about we make a deal? You leave me and everyone else in this complex unharmed and I'll give you the antidote and leave you all alone." Doc proposed casually. "Or you can go through the trouble of torturing me but I won't give you anything"

Doc pulled himself up and steadied himself against one of the walls.

"Your choice gentlemen"

 

[Sparrow]

"New plan."

Sparrow winched Doc up put the ruff of his collar, and slammed him against a wall.

"Give me, the antidote."

 

[Doc Theta Sigma]

Doc didn't reply and simply stared at Sparrow. Nothing Sparrow could do would make Doc give him the antidote... Mental conditioning made sure of that. No matter how much pain he was in, his brain would not release the information.

 

[Sparrow]

"Fine."

Sparrow looked at Samuel.

"Get that cute little ***** he hangs around with."

Samuel limped toward the opening in the door.

"You see, once I cut off this lab rat of your's head, you might feel a small bit of our pain. Maybe."

 

[Dorian]

Should I? Is it worth it? ....... I think I must.

"DOC!" Doc looked at him, as well as Sparrow and Samuel.

"Here's MY deal. You give them the antidote and they leave unharmed, but I stay."

 

[Sparrow]

"DOC!" Doc looked at him, as well as Sparrow and Samuel.

"Alright." Samuel said, grinning. He directed Natasha through the door and let her stand in the middle of the room.

She looked indifferent. Sparrow walked up to her and formed his arm into a blade. Samuel leaned back and watched.
