Prototypes: Super Hero RP (Finished)

[Doc Theta Sigma]

"I'm assuming you're not familiar with the concept of a sociopath." Doc replied casually. "I used to be a psychologist you know. I've read a lot of literature on it since I woke up. You see, as a sociopath, I lack what you may call empathy"

Doc shrugged as Natasha stared into his eyes.

"Go ahead and kill her. She had her uses, but it won't make me hand over the antidote"

 

[Dorian]

We're all getting out of here. Don't worry, Samuel and I has plan. We've also got a little suprise for you once this is over too.

*Grumble Grumble* Alright.... Fine.....

 

[Sparrow]

"Shame."

Doc wasn't lying, he felt no emotion toward this woman. Sparrow stared into her eyes. She was no villian, she was merely a puppet.

"Natasha, go. You can live, I suppose."

The scared woman walked out of the complex, as Sparrow watched. He was out of ideas.

"Alright. You, and whats left of your lackies can live. Give me the antidote."

 

[SamuelT]

"Sparrow, you can't possibly..." Samuel started as he heard the answer. Sparrow looked at him. He saw the look, and could figure out the plan behind Sparrow's eyes.

He fell back in the chair.

"Alright. You get to live." Samuel said, while sighing.

 

[Doc Theta Sigma]

"A good choice gentlemen" Doc smiled pleasantly.

As he was released from Sparrows grip, Doc casually walked over to the console, took a key from his pocket and inserted it into the port on the console, turning it a section of the console slid out to reveal 5 vials of blue liquid.

"They drink this and it will purge the bio-toxin from their system" Doc replied.

 

[Sparrow]

Sparrow wandered over to the five tubes, as the occupants riggled around inside. The process was obviously painful. Samuel and Sparrow stood motionless, as the five prototypes slowly opened their eyes, and the water inside turned to a simple clear substance.

"They're ok. Good."

Samuel exchanged a quick glance toward Sparrow, which he undestood. Grabbing the rough of the hair behind #8's head, Sparrow slammed his face directly into the computer's controls. The force knocked him clean out, as blood poured down his face.

"Samuel, set the charges. Lets get out of here."

Sarah continued to thrash in her pod. Her anger was rising, as was her fear. She heard Doc, Sparrow, and Samuel all talking. The combination of everything sent Sarah, once again, over the edge.

She clenched her hands and made them into fist. The white flames covered her hands first then her entire body.

"Let me out!!!"

The pod quickly began to melt away.

 

[Sparrow]

Sparrow lunged his hand through Sarah's tube, and pulled her out. He slowly pulled off her breathing aparatus as she gasped for air. Sparrow looked into her solemn expression.

"Sorry."

 

[SamuelT]

Samuel set the charges. All that had to be done was push a single button. Then the entire complex would go up in flames.

"They're set." He said. Doc was lying face-down on the floor. Samuel grinned. He tried to walk, but almost fell himself.

"Sorry to break you two up, but can someone help? I can't walk." He said to Sparrow who was busy tending to Sarah.

 

[Dorian]

"The water..... It's water now."

Iceous immersed himself with his power. The glass coated with frost from the outside. Rather ominous cracking could be heard outside. Suddenly the glass exploded from the ice pressing against it. Iceous casually walked out and sucked up the cold he put in the ice.

"Anybody need some extra warmth, or should I just stick it in Doc?"

 

[Sparrow]

Does the facility have to be blown up? I had some other plans for my character that might well involve it. Could the Angel disable the charges when no-one's looking or something?

[EDIT]: Also, trying to hurt Doc any further will invoke the Angel's wrath - which might be interesting since it would be Frosty's first encounter with the silver creature.

I know you have lots of plans Chris, but the base needs to go bye-bye. Also, we need this bit to go smoothly, so Doc has to survive and the Angel has to stay put for the time being. The next arc we're opening up WILL be heavily based on the #0 though.

 

[Dorian]

No one said anything, so he figured he ought to use his spare heat for good. Iceous sent it into the glass of Patrick's tube until it was soft. The glass slid down and collected on the floor.

"Ahh, the sweet cold. How I missed it..." The mist that usually followed him spawned just then, due to the complex's heating system. He used the water pooled on the floor to make his blade-gauntlet. A quick slash-here and a stab-there and the rest of the tubes were busted open.

Sarah burned through the pod quickly but felt Sparrow grab her. He tore her breathing apparatus and made it difficult for her to breathe. She slowly began to black out, looking at him in the eyes she lost consciousness.

Another reason not to trust you Sparrow....

*Unconscious*

 

[Dorian]

Iceous spied Samuel's shot leg.

"You need a hand?" It was a rhetorical question anyway, so he just turned his blade-gauntlet into a knee brace and a crutch. "Here."

He handed them to Samuel, who graciously accepted them.

 

[Sparrow]

Sparrow placed Sarah down against the side of the control panel. It would be better if she wasn't awake for this.

"Iceous, help out Samuel. The rest of you, get outside. We're leaving."

 

[SamuelT]

"Coming, coming..." Samuel said. He tried to stand with the ice-crutch Iceous had given him. But he wasn't one for tools. In fear of a possible black-out he quickly knitted his kneecap back together.

He streched once, and then twice. He tried to put some weight on it and it felt normal. Still, it'd fall apart after a few hours.

"Yes, we're leaving."

 

[Dorian]

"Lead the way Sparrow."

This was a close one. I don't want to have to depend on Sparrow and Samuel anymore. If they hadn't come, I'd be royally screwed.

After a short while in the hallway, Iceous felt the urge to ask.

"So.... are we walking home?"
