Protoype vs Infamous: The Battle of Box Art

Infamous looks pretty amateurish to me. If you'd tell me this pick was taken from deviantart I would believe it in an instant. even thought I do like the silhouetted guy in the "o".

Prototype is better. Nice contrast, badass and mysterious. Also stands out in a rack full of high-profile cluttered boxes. But I'm still not entirely sold.

Now that cover I can approve of. If only it wasn't all shitstorm-brown.

yea, i'de go with Infamous, it has a lot more detail then [Prototype], and that is just on the boxart, but based on what i've seen from gameplay, i'de still go with Infamous.

that is definitely fake IMO

if you look at the ESRB ratings box the word "gore" and "violence" should both be capitalized and they're not

also i dont want to believe that the actual box art is that brown...

I prefer the InFamous one rather than [Prototype]'s

Possibility that it's the prototype box cover aside, Prototype looks extremely plain to me with just a white background and you can't really see much of the main character. It looks like someone just stamped the logo and a character on it that you see in so many other box arts. Though this could be because it's a small picture and it's possibly not the official box art, but right now InFamous gets my impulse money.

Prototype is the better design of those two.

It's colours are much clearer and the layout is less cluttered.
There's so much in the infamous cover that it looks quite amateurish, neither is very distinctive but Prototype is definately the better executed there.

I think what's important is what image is more memorable. I think the infamous yellow jacket is that more that image than the prototype silhouette. Not only is yellow/black going to catch your eye(although white will too) the image is going to stick with you more than prototypes. At least that's my thought.

I really can't see why anyone would pick up inFamous when the main character is dressed so horribly. That jacket looks god awful.

I much prefer Prototype's simple design to inFamous's clustered design and poor fashion sense.
