PS2 Classics YOU want to see

Kingdom Hearts Series, and the Jak and Daxter series.

Which would be fine if Sony would release a fucking patch update allowing them to be used and save data stored on the PS3 instead of making us modifying the damn console to play a game that SHOULD be playable.

They've made the 3DS game already. Chances are we wont hear anything about KH3 until mid year ...thing that they announce next years games at. ASSUMING they havent delayed it again. been 5 years already.

That's just stupid*, why would anyone sell an emulator or worse yet make the PS3 backwards compatible when they can go and re-release old games for the PS3 with a little glossing up and sell them for £20 a go?

Where be the profit in that?

Though you can do what I did and go buy a second hand PS2 for about the same price as one of those re-released games and build up a decent PS2 library with about £20's .

*I'm not actually calling you stupid, I'm just making light of the fact that Sony know what they are doing with this business, milking what they can from their old catalog of games rather than giving you an emulator.

While I'd certainly prefer and HD collection of all these, the only one I'm absolutely demanding (and am completely shocked they haven't done yet) is the Ratchet and Clank games. It's appalling that these haven't been updated.


As for the Classics thing, mostly just RPGs that I'd like to be able to play without having to dig out my dusty PS2.

None, I'd like to see emulating software put onto the console instead of charging everyone for the same game twice.

Granted yes I bought Tactics as a PSOne classic while I have it on the PSone but that's basically because I wanted to play it portable without it being the shitty War of the Lions port and now I can!

Yeah I know the title says PS2 but screw it, Resi 2 was the best of the original 3 and I want it on my PS3!

Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2, Devil Summoner 1 and 2(and remake Soul Hackers already Atlus). I'd say Nocturne for everyone elses sake but I wouldn't buy it due to the fact that I played the hell out of it already.

Mayabe we should start a campain like Op. Rainfall to convince Sony to release them.

For me its has to be Ratchet and Clank 3, I don't really know why but it was my favourite of the whole series.
Also Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex must come back.

- Eternal Ring (they could fix up the controls a bit. The game was otherwise great.)
- King's Field IV (see: Eternal Ring)
- Giants: Citizen Kabuto
- Headhunter
- Gregory Horror Show
- Goblin Commander: Unleash the Horde
- Maximo: Ghosts to Glory
- Red Dead Revolver

If any of these are on PSN, I really should start paying more attention.
