In any case, I still have my PS2, and the games I have the fondest memories of include (but are not limited to) Silent Hill 2, MGS2, GTA 3, and Resident Evil 4.

OT: my favourite games were the Ratchet and Clank series. The PS2 was awesome, no doubt.

I bought the really cheep one i mostly use it as a blu-ray player and for exclusives like LBP and Uncharted.

Oh man, I miss my PS2. I'm trying to find one for cheap but I haven't found it easy. I wanna play through Shadow of the Colosuss again. And Cold Winter, Second Sight, Psi Ops, Resident Evil 4, Killzone, War of the Monsters and so on and so forth.

Of course I still have my PS2, in fact it is my only console and it's still regular used. The PS2 was so awesome that it almost rivals the PC as a gaming platform. And the game it got are some of the best out there neither the PS3 nor the 360 have any games close to the best PS2 games. Plus it can play PS1 games and my favourite game of all time is a PS1 game.

I might be a little biased.

If I had to state my favourite games on the PS2 I would have to say MGS2 and PoP SoT, but really it have to many awesome games to count.

i've been meaning to buy a PS2... my parents were anti-videogame for a few years after buying my older brother a PS1 and saw his grades go down (they obviously didnt consider the fact that he was depressed and disinterested in school) so I missed out on a whole generation of games. It took me a few years when I was 13 over here in australia to get into PC gaming, but I still had a PS1 untill I left New Zealand for australia in 2007...

Hasn't it ALWAYS been the best-selling one of all time ever since it got the title? Anyways, Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, the Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank games, FFXII, Devil May Cry series, Soul Reaver 2 and Defiance. Seriously, I could go on all night with games I like from that.

Edit: Yeah I still have my original one, in perfect working order. Bought it way back when they first came out too. So proud of that thing.
