Now that the PS3 is finally developing into a young lady, I've been wondering if it will finally exceed the popularity of its competitors. The Wii is becoming a cult classic, much like the Gamecube was/is, and the XBOX360 is starting to suck up to corporate 'family friendly' marketing. Maybe because of these drawbacks, the sales of these systems would go down heavily.
I'm been convinced that over the next two years, PS3 sales will rise sharply because of games like Little Big Planet and Resistance 2. Other good games will come for the PS3 and because there are very few XBOX360 exclusives now, there's no reason to choose the 360 over PS3 anymore. It's no longer 600$, the only reason most people anti-fanboyed it to begin with, so nobody should hate it anymore. 2009 and 2010 should be the time of the Sony comeback.
Opinions?
